ツプは、車体の中央下部に左右側方に伸したフー
トバーの中央を連結し、フートバーの両端に弾性

構成されており、運転者が筒状ステツプの上に足
を置くようにしている。一方、オートバイではエ
ンジンが車体中央下部に塔載されていて、筒状ス
テツプと位置が近い。エンジンは運転中振動し、
この振動が車体を介してフートバーに伝わる。筒
状ステツプは弾性体でこの振動を減衰させている
が、それでも足に振動が伝わるとがあつて不快で

プで二段階に振動を減衰でき、フートバーから筒
状ステツプに伝わる振動を大巾に低減できる。こ
うして、筒状ステツプに足を置く運転者の足への
