[Technical Background of the Invention and Problems Therein] In general liquid containers, such as oil tanks, sloshing occurs during an earthquake, and the growth of the waves may destroy the container or support. Furthermore, in the fuel pools of nuclear power plants, water containing radioactive materials may leak due to sloshing during earthquakes.
Very dangerous.

As a means to prevent sloshing as described above, a flow suppressing member made of a fibrous material is immersed just below the liquid surface, and the resistance when the liquid passes through the member and the interference between vortices are used to prevent sloshing. Methods of absorbing energy are being considered.

However, maintenance of the above-mentioned members is difficult because waste materials such as impurities in the liquid and deterioration products accumulate between the fibers that make up the members, and especially in the case of fuel pools, radioactive materials adhere to the members. There are problems such as easy radioactivity.

Embodiments of the Invention] FIG. 1 shows a typical embodiment of the invention. A plurality of support plates 2 are fixed to the side wall of the boule 1 with the plate surface perpendicular to the side wall, and each support plate 2 has a cross section that is distributed perpendicularly through the support plates 2 and arranged in a staggered manner. A plurality of circular rods 3 are supported.

The sloshing prevention device of the present invention having the above configuration prevents sloshing in the following manner. When waves are generated on the liquid surface 4 due to an earthquake, when the waves collide with the side wall, a bulge is generated on the liquid surface, and the liquid enters the sloshing prevention device of the present invention. At this time, a vortex is generated by the bar 3, and the growth of sloshing is suppressed due to flow resistance. Further, since the sloshing prevention device of the present invention is constructed using a rod with a simple cross-sectional shape, the adhesion of waste matter is almost negligible, and even if there is adhesion, it is easy to clean.

従って保守が簡単である。Therefore, maintenance is easy.

FIG. 2 shows the main parts of another embodiment of the invention. In this embodiment, a three-dimensional lattice-like member is formed by bars 5 arranged in a grid pattern and parallel to the side walls, and bars 6 arranged in a grid pattern and perpendicular to the bars 5 and perpendicular to the side walls. This is the main part of the sloshing prevention device. According to this embodiment, a flow resistance greater than that of the embodiment shown in FIG. 1 can be obtained,
The effect of inhibiting sloshing growth is significant.

Fig. 9 shows a bar 3 with a circular cross section of the embodiment shown in Fig. 1.
4 shows the main part of an embodiment using a bar 7 with an equilateral triangular cross section, and FIG. 5 shows the bar 5 with a circular cross section of the embodiment shown in FIG. This is the main part of an example in which a bar 9.10 having a cross-shaped cross section is used instead of .6. In this embodiment, the middle bar has a large cross-sectional area, and the upper and lower bars have a small cross-sectional area.

In this example, since the bar has a cross-shaped cross section,
Flow resistance can be significantly increased. In addition, the thickness of the bars is changed near both the upper and lower surfaces of the member and in the middle part, and the density of the bars is changed, so that the growth of sloshing can be efficiently suppressed.

It should be noted that the present invention is not limited to the above embodiments, and may be arranged not to be parallel to the side wall of the container and the liquid level. Further, the weight can be reduced by using the bar as a hollow body such as a pipe. Furthermore, it is conceivable that the device of the present invention may obstruct work in a fuel pool or the like, but in such a case, the device of the present invention may be provided in a removable manner. In addition, for example, in a general container such as an oil tank, the amount stored changes at any time and the liquid level fluctuates, so if the device of the present invention is equipped with a mechanism that moves by following fluctuations in the liquid level, it can be used regardless of fluctuations in the liquid level. Therefore, a good sloshing prevention effect can be obtained. Further, the present invention is not limited to application to the illustrated rectangular parallelepiped-shaped container, but can also be applied to a cylindrical container if a bar having an arcuate planar shape is used.

[Effects of the Invention] According to the device of the present invention having the above configuration, the growth of sloshing in a liquid container during an earthquake is suppressed, so there is no risk of destruction of the container, supporting member, etc. due to sloshing, and there is no risk of damage to the liquid container due to sloshing. It is also prevented from flowing out of the container. Furthermore, since the device is constructed using rods with a simple cross-sectional shape, maintenance management is easy.
