A steering wheel, a steering shaft having one end connected to the steering boiler and the other end connected to a steering mechanism, a column shaft enclosing the steering shaft, and the column shaft forming a part of the vehicle body. 1. A steering device comprising a bracket attached to and supported by a steering column stay, wherein the bracket has a shock absorbing portion that easily deforms when receiving impact energy.
