Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent the forward end of a paper from directing downward during shifting to a release position and to enable reliable conveyance of a paper, by a method wherein the maximum width, extending horizontally orthogonal to the conveyance direction, of the contact surface of a stop member is decreased over the minimum lateral width of the widths of papers. CONSTITUTION:A contact surface 20, positioned between forward end surfaces C1, C2, and C3 of an auxiliary member 19 and serving to stop a paper, is 2 spots of D1 and D2 and a width l1 between both side ends of D1 and D2 is decreased over a minimum width lp of widths of papers conveyed and stopped. When the stop member 13 is rotated from a stop position and shifted to a release position, even if the forward end of the paper is pressed downward, the forward end of the paper is not pressed downward throughout the whole width but only a portion making contact with the D1 and D2. Further, the forward end of the paper is reliably prevented from directing downward through paper elasticity of a portion, positioned facing forward end surfaces C1, C2, and C3 of the auxiliary member 19, and this, when shifted to a release position, enables the paper to be reliably conveyed from the forward end thereof with the aid of a guide surface 21.

Detailed Description of the Invention [Field of Industrial Application] The present invention relates to a paper conveying device, and particularly to a paper conveying device that conveys paper to a predetermined position of a processing device that processes paper by keeping it stationary horizontally at a predetermined position and then stopping the paper. In other words, it relates to a paper conveyance device that restarts paper conveyance after processing is completed.

Generally, when making multiple copies of a document made up of multiple sheets of paper, for example, first place the first sheet of paper on the manuscript table and make a predetermined number of copies, then replace the first sheet of paper with the second sheet. Place the paper on the document table and make a predetermined number of copies, and then similarly place all the papers one by one on the document table and make a predetermined number of copies.
On the other hand, the copies with the first sheet of paper are sorted into separate locations one by one, and the copies with the second sheet of paper are stacked one by one on top of them, and all copies are made in the same way. It is common practice to copy multiple copies of multiple documents by stacking them one copy at a time, but such work is extremely complicated and time-consuming.

For this reason, sorters (automatic sorting devices) have been commercialized as devices that automatically sort the copies one by one, but a sorter requires a large amount of space to sort 20 or 30 or more copies. This is indispensable, and moreover, it is time-consuming to take out the sorted documents one by one from their respective stacking positions.

Recently, when sending a stack of documents consisting of multiple sheets of paper, the first sheet of paper is first conveyed onto the manuscript table, one copy is made, and then returned to the original stack position, and then the next sheet is sent. After transporting the second sheet of paper onto the manuscript table and copying only one copy, I return it to the original document stacking position, copying all the sheets one by one in the same manner, and then stacking the original documents. For example, there is a device that returns to the position and makes only one copy of the document consisting of all the sheets, and then continues to repeat the above operation to make a predetermined number of copies of the document. 34416

Furthermore, although the devices shown in Figure 9 (C-1), (C-2, and C-3) are compact and have a simple mechanism, they are not reliable because the paper often slips through at the stop position. In order to ensure stable paper stopping performance, please refer to Figure 9 (C-2).

The present invention provides a filter paper conveying apparatus in which paper is conveyed to the predetermined position of a processing apparatus for processing by keeping the paper stationary on a plane at a predetermined position, the paper is stopped, and the conveyance of the paper is resumed when the processing is completed. A stop member having an abutment surface and a guide surface is disposed at the leading end position of the paper in the conveyance direction, and is rotatable about an axis to be switchable between a stop position and a release position. The maximum width of the abutting surface perpendicular to the paper conveyance direction and the horizontal direction is narrower than the width of the smallest of the sheets to be stopped, and the abutting surface is on the stationary plane when in the stopping position. The guide surface has a configuration in which the guide surface stands up from the top and stops the paper by coming into contact with the leading edge of the paper, and when the guide surface is in the release position, the contact surface sinks below the stationary plane and the guide surface allows the paper to be conveyed. are doing.

The stopping member 13 is connected to the document table 1 as shown in FIG. 2.3.
The CI, C2, and 03 surfaces abut against the end surfaces of the document table 10 to fix the document table 10, and are combined with an auxiliary member work 9 whose upper surface is continuous at substantially the same height as the top surface of the document table 10,
Further, the stop member 13 rotates around an axis O disposed above the upper surface of the document table 10 to switch between the stop position shown in FIG. 2(al) and the release position shown in FIG. 2(b). It is configured so that it can be used.

That is, the stop member 13 has an abutment surface 20 and a guide surface 21 that are at an angle of approximately 90 degrees to each other, and when in the stop position, the abutment surface 2

In this case, the tip surfaces C1, C2, 03 of the auxiliary member 19
The contact surface 20 that is located between and stops the paper is Dl and D2.
However, since the width z1 between both ends of the re-contact surfaces Di and D2 is narrower than the width 1p of the smallest sheet of paper to be conveyed and stopped, the stopping member 13 cannot be rotated from the stopping position. Even if the leading edge of the paper is pushed down when moving and switching to the release position, the leading edge of the paper is not pushed down over its entire width;
When the stop member 19 is switched, the leading edge of the paper is directed downward due to the elasticity of the paper in the part that is in contact with the front end faces C1, C2, and C3 of the auxiliary member 19. This is reliably prevented, so that when the release position is reached, the paper is reliably conveyed by the guide surface 21 from its leading edge.

Further, as shown in FIG. 5(a), when the stop member 13 is at the stop position, the angle θ1 formed between the contact surface 20 and the upper surface of the document table 1o is approximately 90'', and FIG. ), when the stop member 13 is in the release position, the angle θ2 between the guide surface 21 and the upper surface of the document table 1o is approximately 30°.

Here, the document 1 is subjected to a sorting operation by the paper feeder 3 to separate only the lowest sheet of paper, and this one sheet of paper is subsequently conveyed to the paper feed belt 5 and reaches the paper feed roller 8. Next, the paper is conveyed by the paper feed roller 8 along the paper feed guide 9.9 to the conveyor belt 11, and then the leading edge of the paper is brought into contact with the abutting surface 20 of the stop member 13 on the document table 10 by the conveyor belt 11. Then, the second sheet of paper from the bottom is separated from the lowest position in the same manner as described above, fed, conveyed, and stopped at a predetermined position by the stop member 13 that has been switched to the stop position. In this state, only one copy is copied, and when the copying is completed, the stop by the stop member 13 is released, and the paper is conveyed and ejected again.
The document 1 on the set table 2 is returned to the uppermost position at that time, and its leading edge is aligned with the gate 6.

(1) In a paper conveying device that conveys paper to the predetermined position of a processing device that processes the paper by keeping it stationary on a plane at a predetermined position, and then resumes conveying the paper after processing, the paper at the predetermined position is A stop member having an abutment surface and a guide surface is disposed at the leading end position in the conveyance direction so that it can be rotated around an axis and switched between a stop position and a release position. The maximum width of the contact surface perpendicular to the paper conveyance direction and the horizontal direction is narrower than the width of the smallest of the sheets to be stopped, and the contact surface is separated from the stationary plane when in the stop position. The guide surface is configured to stand up and come into contact with the leading edge of the paper to stop the paper, and when in the release position, the abutment surface sinks below the stationary plane and the guide surface allows the conveyance of the paper. A paper conveying device characterized by:
