Abstract

PURPOSE:To quicken a work and to reduce a labor by providing the sheave for shifting the direction of a wire rope, also by supporting the guide frame of the wire rope rotatably and vertically movably. CONSTITUTION:The wire rope guiding frame 12 having a swiveling center 8 at the position off from the traveling path width of a loop car 1 is provided. The frame 12 equips the sheaves 10, 11, 11' for shifting the direction of a wire rope 9, also the one end is fixed via a cotter 14 to the bracket 13 of a frame 3. A strip 2 is tracted by a which 15 via the sheaves 10, 11 with connecting the tip of the wire rope 9 to the one end of the ruptured strip 2. The other end of the strip 2 is tracted with re-winding the rope 9 on the sheaves 10, 11'. Further the frame 12 is made freely movable vertically with the ascent and descent of the bracket and rotated upto a position (a) at the normal operation time of the loop car 1. With this method the work is quickened and labor can be reduced.

There are various types of loopers for continuous strip processing equipment, but in the case of a horizontal type looper like the one shown in Japanese Utility Model Publication No. 46-36503, if the strip breaks inside the looper, it will be difficult to handle it manually. The worker pulls the sys- tem strip and performs work such as joining the strips2. This is easy if the plate is thin, but if the plate is thick to a certain extent, the work is quite difficult, and requires a traction jig (such as a chain block) and a great deal of effort and time.

The present invention has a plurality of wire rope direction change sheaves that are located within the running path of a loop car, have a center of rotation at a position outside the width of the running path, and can be towed in both the front and rear directions of the loop car's running direction. The towing system is equipped with a wire rope guide frame that moves up and down in the vertical direction so that the towing position can be adjusted to the position of the broken strip, a mechanism for supporting the wire rope guide frame in a rotating manner and raising and lowering it, and a winding winch 4 for winding the wire rope. If the strip breaks at the position where it is inserted into the looper using a separate device, the strip at the broken position is pulled in the desired direction of traction.
It is a companion that can be quickly set up and towed.

The system lip 2 is configured to be held loosely by the two loop cars 1. The loop car 1 runs horizontally on a rail 4 supported by a pedestal 3. The strip 2 is run by a winder 6 via five wire ropes in the direction in which tension is applied to the strip 2. In the walking path range R shown in FIG. 2, there is provided an IJ splinter separation device 7 for use in the event of strip breakage according to the present invention. FIG. 1 shows a state in which a broken strip 2 is being towed by the IJ tube separation device 7. Sheaves 10, 11 . . . have a turning center 8 at a position outside the width of the running path of the loop car 1 and are used to change the direction of the wire rope 9. The nine-wire rope guide frame 12 is fixed at one end by a bracket 13 and a standter 14 fixed to the pedestal 3 so as not to rotate. In this state, the tip of the wire rope 9 is tied to the broken strip 2 at the sheave 10. The strip 2 is pulled through the sheave 11 by a winding winch 15 of the wire rope 9. On the other hand, when towing the other broken strip, the wire rope 9 is connected to the sheave 10 as shown by the two-dot chain line in FIG. The wire rope 9 is reattached so as to be pulled through the sheave 11', and the winding winch 15 is used to tow the wire rope 9.

That is, with the above configuration, the position of each of the first to fourth strips 2 can be adjusted by the action of the motor 25 so as to be able to tow them. Also, during normal operation,
The wire rope guide frame 12 is rotated to the state shown in FIG. 1A so that it does not interfere with the running of the loop car. In this embodiment, the frame 12 is rotated manually.

In the embodiment, even if the strip breaks at any position from the first to the fourth stage, the wire rope guide frame can be quickly set to that position, the towing work can be easily performed, and the work is done without the manual labor that was previously required. By using a towing jig, this great amount of labor and time is saved, and the work is standardized, which improves safety.

In the embodiment of the present invention, a horizontal loop car is shown, but it can also be applied to a vertical louver, and similar effects can be obtained. Further, in one embodiment, a four-stage structure is shown, but it is possible to configure the present invention with a structure having more than four stages. Furthermore, in one embodiment, the pivoting of the wire rope guide frame is done manually and is then made faster and easier by utilizing an actuator such as a cylinder.
