域に光を照射する照明手段であつて、 前面部材に臨む開孔を有し、遮光性材料から成
る大略的に筒状のハウジングと、 前面部材寄りに取り付けられ、前記表示領域に
対向しており、光を拡散する拡散板と、 拡散板よりも背後でハウジング内に取り付けら
れ、拡散板に光を照射する光源とを含む、そのよ
うな照明手段とを含むことを特徴とする前面照明
構造。
