BACKGROUND ART Conventionally, a method of manufacturing a so-called three-dimensional decorative board with a three-dimensional pattern using a synthetic resin material is well known. In order to manufacture a three-dimensional decorative board using a wood material, the wood material is shaved and pressed into a three-dimensional mold using a mold. However, manufacturing three-dimensional decorative boards by cutting wood materials is time-consuming and low in productivity. Furthermore, it is difficult to make a three-dimensional decorative board from a wood material by pressing, since the wood material is plastic, and it is difficult to obtain the desired shape. Although it is relatively easy to process wood veneers made by cutting wood material into thin pieces of about 0.2 to 0.4 mm, there is still no known manufacturing method for adding three-dimensional patterns to such wood veneers. It has not been done.

The adhesive 2 to be applied has a foaming property that foams due to heat, moisture, etc., and is, for example, a Frethane thread picker. Furthermore, as shown in FIG. 1(3), a wood material having a wood content of &3 is laminated on the surface of the substrate 1 on which the adhesive 2 is applied. Thereafter, as shown in FIG. 1(4), the laminated substrate 1 and wood fibers 3 are sandwiched between molds 4 and 5 with an adhesive 2 interposed therebetween. The four molds located in the lower part of FIG. 1 are in contact with the substrate 1, and the mold 5 located in the upper part of FIG. 1 is in contact with the wooden veneer 3.

Four parts 6 are formed in the mold 5 at positions where the convex parts of the wooden veneer 3 are to be formed. After the substrate 1 and the wooden veneer 3 are interposed between the molds 4 and 5, pressure is applied in the direction in which the molds 4 and 5 approach each other, as shown in FIG. 1 (6). In the state shown in FIG. 1 (5), by applying heat or adding moisture, the adhesive 2 foams, and therefore
The wooden veneer 3 at the position corresponding to is protruded by the adhesive 2. In this way, the three-dimensional decorative board 10 is formed as shown in FIG. 1(6).

A plan view of the mold 5 is shown in FIG. 2, and a cross-sectional view taken along the section line III-Ill in FIG. 2 is shown in FIG. In this embodiment, the concave portion 6 of the mold 5 is formed in the shape of a steel spherical surface.

The wood veneer 3 preferably has a small tensile Young's modulus and a large tensile failure strain, but generally the wood veneer 3 has a moisture content of 30 to 40% and a thickness of 0.15 to 0.30 mm. Bye. Furthermore, the wooden veneer 3 having a large conduit can be used when the substrate 1 and the wooden veneer 3 are laminated via the adhesive 2
This is unsuitable because the adhesive 2 flows out through the conduit.

Teva wood was used as the wood veneer 3, and the wood veneer 3 was dyed prior to manufacturing the three-dimensional decorative board. The dyeing solution used was a mixture of polyethylene glycol, dye, and water melted in a certain proportion. A dyeing liquid was applied to both sides of the wooden veneer 3 and steamed in a high temperature steam atmosphere to dye the wooden veneer 3. The thus dyed wooden veneer 3 and the 3 mm thick substrate 1 were laminated via a urethane adhesive and molded without press using the molds 4 and 5 shown in FIG. The thickness of the wood veneer 3 is 0.16 mm.

The inventor conducted other experiments. Aius wood was used as the wood veneer 3, and the wood veneer 3 was dyed in the same manner as in the above experiment, and a three-dimensional decorative board 10 was manufactured using the dyed wood veneer 3 (thickness: 0.3 mm). Since the conduit of Aius wood is relatively large, the thickness of the wooden veneer 3 was set to 0.3 mm, but a slight seepage of the adhesive 2 was observed.

The inventor of the present invention further conducted other experiments. wood veneer 3
The wood veneer 3 was dyed with a dyeing solution in the same way as in the two experiments described above. Furetane 4UJli' no emulsion was applied to the surface of the C0-dyed wood veneer 3, and after drying, a three-dimensional decorative board 10 was manufactured. Since the surface was treated with a urethane resin emulsion, the airtightness of the wood veneer 3 was improved, and therefore the three-dimensional decorative board 10 did not seep out of the adhesive 2 as seen in the second experiment.

In the above-mentioned experiment, the reason why the wooden veneer 3 was dyed using a dyeing solution containing melted polyethylene glycol was to make the degree of staining of the wooden veneer 3 smooth. Of course, the present invention can also be suitably carried out using undyed wood veneer 3.
