Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide a low-cost key telephone system that excludes any setting error by connecting directly a diode to a key input board and reading a set value in accordance with the connected status of the diode. CONSTITUTION:With power supply on, a microcomputer 7 detects the board to which a diode 11 for setting telephone set, then informs the value to a master station through a communication part 8 The station, as conventionally, discriminates the telephone set model and performs a control corresponding to the model. Thus, because the model setting is done by connecting the diode to a key input board, no additional board is necessary, and furthermore, the diode is mounted on a printed circuit board in production line to exclude errors in setting. In the figure, 9 and 10 represent a display part and key part to be scanned by the microcomputer 7, respectively.

Conventional configurations and their problems In general, the higher the functionality and larger size of a button telephone device, the greater the number of telephone models (for example, the number of central office line buttons is 0.6, 1,
2.24, there is a desire to connect a general telephone, a speakerphone telephone, a telephone with a liquid crystal display, etc. to each of these telephones, and various kinds of telephones have been developed to meet this demand. However, when considering the microcomputers used inside, it is not a good idea to have so many masks, and it is desirable to cover the entire phone with at most two types. In this case, since each telephone is controlled differently, it is necessary for the main installer to remember the model (attribute) of the telephone, and this has been accomplished in the past by the following method.

(1)主装置側で設定する方法 (2)電話機側で設定して、それを主装置側に通知する

(1) Method of setting on the main device side (2) Method of setting on the phone side and notifying the main device side When setting the attributes of a telephone on the main device, there is a possibility that attributes different from those of the actually connected telephone may be set, and the replacement work becomes extremely troublesome when replacing the telephone.

On the other hand, in the case of (2), such problems are relatively rare, but the conventional button telephone devices are configured as shown in Figure 1, and someone carelessly changes the settings. The problem was that it could change.

Reference numeral 6 indicates that the microcomputer 1 reads the digit switch 5 to control the speakers, microphones, etc., and notifies the main device of the value through the communication section 2. As a result, the main device determines the model of the telephone and performs control for that model. However, in this case, (a) the digit switch 5 is exposed to the outside;

In FIG. 2, 7 is a microcomputer that controls the telephone, 8 is a communication section that communicates with the main device, 9 is a display section such as a light emitting diode that is dynamically displayed by the microcomputer 7, and 10 is a display section of the microcomputer 7. A diode 11 is connected to a key input port for setting the telephone model. A diode 12 is a control line for controlling speakers, microphones, etc.

Next, the operation of the above embodiment will be explained. In Figure 2, when the power is turned on, the microcomputer 7
detects the port to which the diode 11 is connected, and thereby reads the model setting value of the telephone. Then, the value is notified to the main device side through the communication section 8. This Ki main device identifies the phone model as before,
Performs control for that model.

In this way, according to the above embodiment, the configuration is such that the model setting is performed by connecting the diode to the key input port, so no separate port is required, and the diode is installed on the printed circuit board during production. By this,
It is not exposed to the outside and cannot be accidentally tampered with by someone, which is extremely advantageous in practical terms.
