During communications between parties, the originating terminal attributes are automatically transferred to the terminating multifunction terminal, and a terminal with the same attributes within the terminating multifunction terminal can be selected, so the user dials the number assigned to the subscriber line of the terminating multifunction terminal. By simply doing this, it is possible to communicate with a terminal in the receiving composite terminal that has the same attributes as the calling terminal, which simplifies the calling operation.

発信複合端末の端末制御装置が、呼毎に、発信端末の属
性を判定し、利用者のダイヤルした着信複合端末の加入
者線の番号とともに交換網に送出し、着信側の複合端末
においては、その端末制御装置が交換網から加入者線を
経て上記の端末属性を受信し、該属性に一致する端末を
加入者線に切替接続することを特徴とする複合端末の選
択接続方式。
