Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable solid printing, improve durability of a photosensitive resin printing plate and reduce printing cost, by a method wherein a pressure of a doctor blade for scraping off an ink on an intaglio is borne by a metallic base surface at the periphery of a recessed part. CONSTITUTION:A flat recessed part 2 with uniform depth is provided in the surface of a base plate 1, a liquid photosensitive resin 3 is poured into the recessed part 2, a surplus of the resin protruding above the surface of the plate 1 is scraped off, and a flat resin layer is thereby provided. The surface of a resin intaglio is set to be lower than the surface of the base plate. A positive film of a design to be etched is placed on the resin layer, the resin is exposed to light imagewise, the resin at unexposed parts is washed away by water spray or waster brushing to develop the image, and water left on the intaglio surface is removed. When performing solid printing by the intaglio, a doctor blade is moved on the resin intaglio to scrape off the ink. The pressure of the blade is borne by the surface of the base plate at the periphery of the recessed part and is prevented from acting directly on the resin intaglio, so that the intaglio is not damaged by the blade. Accordingly, durability is improved, and printing cost can be markedly reduced.

[Detailed Description of the Invention] (Background of the Invention) In conventional intaglio printing, printing is performed using etched steel plates, etc., which is expensive and unprofitable for small-volume printing. It has been proposed that a photosensitive resin layer be placed on a base and printed.

However, when using a photosensitive resin layer in intaglio printing, there is a step of scraping off the ink on the surface with a doctor blade, so the manufacturing cost is lower compared to hard plate materials such as steel plates. , the durability (printing durability) of the photosensitive resin layer is extremely poor.

Furthermore, due to the limited hardness of the photosensitive resin layer, it could not support the pressure of the doctor blade, making thick designs and solid printing impossible.

(Summary of the Invention) The gist of the present invention is to form a planar recess with a predetermined depth and shape on the surface of a metal base, and to tightly fit a pre-designed resin intaglio into the recess, or to apply a liquid photosensitive material to the surface of the metal base. A photosensitive resin layer is formed by pouring resin or closely adhering a sheet-like photosensitive resin film, which is exposed to light to form an intaglio plate having desired printed characters, etc., and a doctor blade is reciprocated over the intaglio plate. A pad and gravure printing method in which damage to a resin intaglio plate by the doctor blade is prevented by supporting the pressing force of the doctor blade mainly on the surface of the metal base around the recess when scraping off ink. .

The intaglio plate used in the present invention can be created by simply bringing a separately prepared resin intaglio plate into close contact with the flat recesses formed on the surface of the base plate, but it can also be created by the following method.

Using an appropriate material 1, for example, a base plate 1 made of the same material as a conventionally used steel plate, a planar recess 2 (Fig. 1) with a uniform depth is formed on its surface by etching, etc., and a liquid photosensitive layer is applied to this. Alternatively, instead of pouring photosensitive resin 3, scrape off the excess resin protruding from the surface of the base plate with a doctor blade or the like to form a flat resin layer, or instead of pouring liquid photosensitive resin, create a sheet covered with a protective film. After the photosensitive resin film 4 is brought into close contact with the bottom surface of the recess using a pressing roller or the like, the protective film 4 is peeled off (see FIG. 2).

As mentioned above, after confirming that there are no air bubbles or dust between the photosensitive resin layer formed in the planar recess of the base plate and the bottom surface of the base plate recess, etching (exposure, development, etc.) of the photosensitive resin layer is performed. to create a resin intaglio. (See Figures 3 and 4) The roughness of the flat recess formed on the surface of the base plate depends on the thickness of the resin plate formed in the recess, and the surface of the resin intaglio is located below the surface of the base plate. The depth should be as follows.
