Abstract

付は精度も厳しくなっている。このためこの種の端面研
磨機は、必然的に高価な装置となり、現場組立作業者に
広く普及させる上での致命的な欠点となっている。

機の持つ大型で電いため光コネクタ組立現場に自由に持
ち運んだり容易に作業の行なえないこと、及び高精度を
実現するために装置構成が多くの部品点数を要しかつ加
工精度が厳しいため高価な物となってしまうことという
欠点を解決するため、小型軽量で構成部品形状を簡素化
することによシ低価格化された現場組立作業用の携帯式
光コネクタ研磨機を得ることを目的としている。

とやはりネジ11により固定されており、ヘッド8の円
筒筐体7との固定位置を定める。光コネクタ12は、光
コネクタ保持板6の中央部に設けられた穴にバネ16を
介してネジ14によシセットされる。駆動モータ1が始
動すると研磨盤4が回)し、バネ15の圧力を受けた光
コネクタ端面はラッピングフィルム5により研磨される
。この際光コネクタ保持板6をスライドさせてやること
によシラツピングフイルム上をむらなく研磨に使用でき
、良好な研磨面を得る事ができる。ラッピングフィルム
が研NKより使用不可となった時はヘッド8を円筒筺体
7からはずしてやると貼りかえが容易に行える。このた
めラッピングフィルム裏面もしくは研磨盤面に貼りかえ
可能な接着剤が塗布しである。また種々の粗さのラッピ
ングフィルムやバブ研磨用布等を選んで研磨盤4上に貼
り付けることにより容易に種々の材質の光コネクタの研
磨に適応する事が可能である。

きることとなシ、光ファイバを用いた通信及び計測分野
え与える効果は非常に大きなものがある。
