窓枠を取り付ける方法が行なわれる。新窓枠を取り付け
る方法では、古い窓枠を撤去するために窓周囲のコンク
リート壁を折ることや特殊な器具を使用して窓枠を躯体
からそっくり引き抜く等、作業が煩雑で経済的でない。

法、或いは取付金具を用いて両窓枠を接続することが行
なわれていた。該工法によれば新窓枠がアルミサツシの
ように、窓枠自体、強度及び耐熱性に優れたものであれ
ば適用出来る。しかしながら、塩化ビニル等のプラスチ
ック製窓枠を用いる場合には、該プラスチック製窓枠自
体、強度及び耐熱性に乏しいため、単なる取付金具によ
る接続では、断砕の強度が発揮されず、又、機械的強度
を持たせるためには構造が複雑となる。更に最も懸念さ
れることは、溶接による熱影響のため、プラスチック製
窓枠の一部が変色したり劣化するということである。そ
のため、アルミサツシ以外の新窓枠は、上記したような
工法では従来、用いられなかった。

一部を接続することにより上記問題が解決出来ることを
見出し、本発明を提供するに至った。

ようにすることにより、プラスチック製窓枠に及ぼす熱
影響を完全に防止することが出来る。
