    【実用新案登録請求の範囲】
  1. 帯状のシース内に光ファイバと、該光ファイバの直径よ
    りも大きい外径を有する軸方向に伸縮可能な剛性体より
    なる側圧メンバーか、あるいは側圧メンバーを構成する
    剛性体部材間の軸方向間隔が伸縮可能の如（配置された
    該光ファイバの直径よりも大きい剛性体よりなる側圧メ
    ンバ一部材かの、いずれか一方が該光ファイバの両側に
    平行して埋設されてなることを特徴とする平形光ケーブ
    ル。
