DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION The present invention relates to a method and apparatus for polishing pachinko balls by continuously supplying a small amount of cleaning liquid into a polishing chamber and then rotating a brush.

There are various conventional methods and devices for polishing pachinko balls by rotating a brush.

However, in the conventional method, when pachinko balls with relatively little dirt were polished, they sometimes became dirty.

When the cause of this was investigated, it was discovered that fine dust generated by the wear and tear of the brush remained attached to the surface of the brush bristles and the inner surface of the polishing tube, and that this dust contaminated the surface of the pachinko balls. It has also been found that the static electricity generated when the surface of a pachinko ball is rubbed with a brush causes the dust to be attracted to the surface of the pachinko ball, increasing dirt.

As a means to reduce dirt on the brush itself, it has been proposed in the past to increase the number of bristles in the brush or to frequently replace the brush with a new one. However, from the table, it is difficult to significantly increase the number of bristles on a brush due to its structure and installation space, and it is cumbersome to frequently replace the brush itself. It's nothing like a plan.

The present invention was proposed in view of the above, and by injecting a small amount of cleaning liquid into a polishing chamber that has a rotatable brush inside and polishing the pachinko ball with a brush from the beginning, it can efficiently polish pachinko balls and remove dirt such as dust. It is an object of the present invention to provide a method and apparatus for polishing pachinko balls that can efficiently discharge the brush to the outside of the polishing chamber and keep the brush in a clean state at all times.

以下本発明を図面の実施例にもとづいて説明する。The present invention will be explained below based on embodiments shown in the drawings.

Therefore, when the polishing brush 6 is rotated by the drive of the motor // in the direction of the arrow in FIG. It is held under the holding member 3, and in this state the surface of the dirty Pachinko ball can be rubbed and polished. Therefore, in the present invention, the above-mentioned dirt and abrasion powder are discharged to the outside of the polishing chamber 5 using the cleaning liquid from the cleaning liquid supply device 16. The cleaning liquid supply device /6 connects the upper end inlet of the liquid supply pipe /7 to the tank lIK, and the lower end outlet to the drip hole /9 which is opened near the inclined upper end of the polishing cylinder. A flow control valve -〇 is installed in the middle of the tank/
A small amount of cleaning liquid is intermittently supplied from the drip hole 19 to the polishing chamber 5.
It is supplied to the inside 6-. Note that the cleaning liquid may be any liquid, such as water or methanol, as long as it can remove dirt, but it is desirable that it be harmless and have good volatility. In addition, if a small amount of cleaning liquid is continuously dripped into the polishing chamber 5 from the cleaning liquid drip hole, the cleaning liquid that has fallen onto the brush B will remove dirt and abrasion particles attached to the surface of the bristles. At the same time, the cleaning liquid scattered by the rotation of the brush t washes away the dirt on the inner surface of the polishing cylinder to the bottom of the polishing cylinder. Further, the cleaning liquid wets the surface of the pachinko ball A to prevent the generation of static electricity and promote the removal of dirt. The cleaning liquid contaminated as described above, including dirt from the pachinko ball A and abrasion powder from the brush 6, flows toward the left side in Figure 1 due to the downward slope of the polishing cylinder, and is drained into the cleaning liquid drain which is opened at the lower end of the slope. It is discharged to the outside of the polishing chamber S from the outlet 21.

Therefore, the brush 6 and the inner surface of the polishing chamber S are always maintained in a clean state, the pachinko balls can be efficiently polished, and the noise during polishing can be reduced compared to the conventional technique.

-7- The amount of cleaning liquid supplied varies depending on the amount of pachinko balls supplied and the state of dirt, but it may be small enough to discharge the dirt to the outside of the polishing chamber S. According to experiments, 10-50cc per minute
A sufficient cleaning effect could be brought about by supplying a certain amount.

Therefore, the pachinko ball A polished in the polishing chamber 5...
When the ball enters the drying room through the ball outlet/S in a wet state, the hot air supplied from the blower 2g dries the surface of the pachinko ball, and the rotating drying brush 2S dries the surface of the pachinko ball. By arranging the bristles on the left side of the polishing brush 6 and drying brush 2 in a spiral in the length direction of each shaft 7, 2A, pachinko balls can be transferred efficiently. Also, the cleaning liquid discharged outside the polishing chamber S may be disposed of into the sewer via the drainage channel 3/, but it can be passed through a filter (not shown) and returned to the tank/g for circulation. You can do it like this.

FIG. 5 shows the configuration of an embodiment in which a polishing device is incorporated into a so-called high circulation system in a row of pachinko machines.
The dirty pachinko balls discharged from the ball collecting gutter 4'/ are collected at the entrance 4'J of the ball transporting machine 1. Then, when the flexible screw ++ of the ball lifting machine L2 is rotated, the lifting vibrators 4t and 1 are connected to the inlet lI3.
The pachinko balls that flowed into the inside of the paiputa! The liquid rises within the polishing apparatus, is discharged from the outlet llb at the upper end, and flows into the polishing apparatus. This polishing device has the same configuration as the embodiment described above, but since it is installed above the row of pachinko machines,
A tank/za is placed below the row of pachinko machines, and the tank/za is placed below the row of pachinko machines.
It is preferable that the cleaning liquid in the tank is supplied by pressure feeding using a bomb.
