Claims

A swivel case is connected to the upper part of the stern bracket fixed to the hull so that it can be tilted vertically via a pivot, and the thrust receiver is fully connected to the lower part of the bracket, and the upper journal of the propulsion unit is connected to the swivel case with a vertical axis. In the outboard motor, the outboard motor is rotatably supported around the stern bracket, and the lower journal of the propulsion unit is supported on the thrust receiver in a separable manner. A lock lever is pivotally attached to one side of the front swivel case facing the stern bracket via a horizontal pivot, and is engaged with the horizontal portion when the propulsion unit is rotated to a predetermined tilt-up position. A tilt-up locking device for a propulsion unit in an outboard motor, comprising a lock claw protruding from the upper surface of the stern bracket for preventing rotation of the lock lever.
