Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce a load applied to a motor shaft when a motor is started by a method wherein a motor bearing is held by a bearing holder loosely with a small movable allowance. CONSTITUTION:A thrust pad member 9 is facing one end of a motor shaft 6. Another end of the motor shaft 6 is supported by a bearing 10. The bearing 10 has a shaft supporting hole and an air relief hole connecting the shaft supporting hole to the outside. The bearing 10 is formed into a rectangular parallelepiped shape and loosely held by a bearing holder 13. When the motor is started, thrust and radial loads are applied to the motor shaft 6. However, as the bearing 10 is held by the bearing holder 13 loosely, the bearing moves a little in the bearing holder 13 and the load applied to the motor shaft 6 at the time of startng is reduced.
