Claims

a plurality of scintillators; and a microchannel optically coupled to the scintillator so that light from each scintillator is directed to different positions on the input photocathode, and for multiplying electrons emitted from the photocathode. A radiation detector comprising a microchannel plate, a microchannel plate image intensifier having a built-in plate, and a microchannel plate image intensifier having an output electrode divided on the output side of the channel plate corresponding to the position where light from each of the scintillators is input.
