As is well known, wet towels are wrapped in a spirally wrapped towel and then wrapped in a plastic film, but in this case, if the bag diameter of the synthetic resin film is too large and there is a large gap between the towel and the outer circumference of the towel, the towel will become spirally wrapped. The towel loses its shape and looks unsightly, and it also gives an unhygienic feeling due to poor processing control. Therefore, it is preferable to wrap the towel tightly from the outside to prevent the spiral shape from deforming. For this reason, in the past, the amount of synthetic resin film fed was adjusted each time according to the towel spiral diameter, which changed each time the towel fabric and size changed. If the amount of synthetic resin film fed is small, the machine will stop or be damaged, so we assume the thickest towel diameter and feed the synthetic resin film accordingly. Currently, the amount has to be adjusted, which is not only really troublesome but also inefficient.

The present invention eliminates such drawbacks, provides a device that can immediately adapt to the diameter of the individual spirals of the towel, eliminates wasteful gaps between the towel and the packaging film, and makes it possible to package towels that do not lose their shape. It was designed for a purpose.

The other reference numeral 32 is a towel. Because of this configuration, the towel 32 is dropped into a synthetic resin film suspended in a substantially U-shape between the sandwiching plates 1 and 1', and this signal is transmitted using, for example, a known phototube (not shown). catch and
When the driving shaft 7 is rotated, in this case, the connecting joint 9 is rotated by the crank 8.
When the gear 10 is set in a position where it makes a half-rotation from the top to the bottom, the gear 10 rotates clockwise as the connecting joint 9 descends, and the film feed gear 13 rotates counterclockwise to feed the film. Since the feed roller 14 also rotates counterclockwise, the film sandwiched by the film nipping roller 15 is sent inward, and furthermore, the rotation of the film feed roller 14 is transferred to the film feed roller 26 on the opposite side via a sprocket 28 and a sprocket 27. Since the film is rotated counterclockwise, the film is fed inward from the film roll 30 on the opposite side, and the film is fed from the left and right to the center, so that the film is fed into the film as shown in FIG. The towel 32 (still inside the film) is reliably lowered through the clamping plate 1.1', and at the same time, the plate cam 6 also rotates due to the rotation of the driving shaft 7, and the tilting rod 4 moves inward. (to the left in Figure 1),
Since the upper part of the clamping plate 1 is tilted inward, the upper ends of the clamping plates 1 and 1', which are bent inwardly, are closed to clamp the film, as shown in FIG. When it rotates 180 degrees from the top end position and starts rising from the bottom end position, the connecting node 9 rises in the opposite direction, so the gear 1
0 rotates counterclockwise, the film feed gear 13 rotates clockwise, the film feed roller 14 and the film feed roller 26 rotate in the opposite direction, and U
Since the hanging film is rolled up from the left and right sides, the towel rises in the opposite direction, and the upper end of the outer periphery is attached to the lower surface of the clamping plates 1, 1' as shown in FIG.

In addition, in this case, as the driving shaft 7 rotates, the sprocket 23 wedged at one end and the sprocket 24 interlocked with the sprocket 24 by the chino also rotate, so the crank 22 causes the cutting contact to occur via the cutting rod 21. The part advances inward;
Since the film comes into strong contact with the cutting blade 18, if the heater 17 in the welding cutting section 16 is heated, the film will be welded and cut at this position. As shown, the film falls downward, and the center part of the film fed out from the left and right sides is welded to the cutting blade 1.
While waiting for the next towel to be supplied and dropped, the clamping plate 1 and the cutting abutment part 20 are rotated by the plate cam 6 and the crank 2, respectively, as the driving shaft 7 rotates, contrary to the above.
It is opened by the action of 2 to prevent the next towel from falling.
By dropping the next towel there and repeating the above-mentioned operation, it becomes possible to successively wrap towels as wet towels.

Further, as an example of another embodiment, as shown in FIG. 8, gears 35 and 36 are pivotally attached to the opening/closing center shafts of the lower ends of the clamping plates 33 and 34, and when they are engaged, the gears One of the clamping plates 34 is opened and closed using the reverse rotation of the gears.
The influence is transmitted to the other one of the clamping plates 33 in a doubled manner, and the opening/closing force is more expanded. If the towel is loosely fitted into the bed 37 in which a dovetail groove is carved, and is structured to be slidable in the vertical direction, it is possible to further promote the movement of the upper part of the outer periphery of the towel in contact with the clamping plate surface.

Therefore, when the present invention is implemented, the film is held from the left and right sides with a holding plate with an inverted cross section, and then the film is rolled up until the upper part of the outer circumference of the towel comes into contact with the lower side of the upper horizontal surface of the holding plate. Since welding and cutting are performed after the towel is squeezed up, there is no gap between the outer periphery of the towel and the film, regardless of the size of the towel diameter, and the film is held between the film feed roller 14 and the film nipping roller 15. By adjusting the force or by installing, for example, a known friction coupling device on the rotating shaft that transmits power from the film feed gear 13 to the film feed roller 14, the towel can be kept in a tightly compressed state without fear of tearing the film. This invention has the effect of efficiently wrapping wet towels in a state where the film is carefully squeezed and tightly wrapped in a towel.
