Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable discharge of only completely-burnt ash even if an object to be incinerated enters a discharge port as it remains to be in an incomplete combustion condition, by a method wherein an ash discharging port forms an ash reservoir, and ash, entering the discharge port, is reserved therein temporarily. CONSTITUTION:The upper open end of an ash reservoir 12 is open approximately in the same level as that of the upper surface of a sand layer S to form a discharge port 5, and an openable cover 13 is attached to the bottom. The openable cover 13 is normally closed, and when ash is stored in the ash reservoir 12, the openable cover is opened to discharge the ash, and thereafter, the cover is closed immediately. One example is described by way of example in which the cover is pivotally attached to a pin 14 and operation of the cover is effected by means of an air cylinder 15.

厚さに敷きつめられていて、その上には撹拌装置が備え
られており、更に炉壁には被焼却物の投入フィーダ4が
取付けられると共に炉底の中央附近には灰の取出口5が
取付けられている。撹拌装置は炉内に投入された被焼却
物3を撹拌して塊状化を防ぐと共に空気との接触をよく
して全体を平均に燃焼させるものであって、炉の中心に
回転軸7を立設してその頂部に二本又はそれ以上の撹拌
翼8を放射状に取付け、更に該撹拌翼8には多数の撹拌
手9を下向きに突設したものである。撹拌手9は云うま
でもな(砂層Sに堆層する被焼却物を撹拌するものであ
るから、その下端は砂層Sの上面附近にまで達しており
、更にこれら回転軸7、撹拌翼8及び撹拌手9は何れも
中空体であって互いに導通しており、回転軸7にはブロ
ア10が接続されると共に撹拌手9には多数の噴気孔1
1が穿孔されていて、ここから空気を吹き出して被焼却
物に対して直接吹き付けるようになっている。
