段を示す一部破断説明図、第３図はキャリッジの概略を
示す路体斜視図、第４図は電子的ブロック図、第５図は
印字動作終了後或いは印字動作中断後におけるサーマル
ヘッドのリリース動作を示すフローチャートである。 図中１はサーマルヘッド、５は印字用紙、１２はサーマ
ルヘッド、１３は第１の保持手段としての引張ばね、２
０は作動手段としての電磁ソレノイド、２５は第２の保
持手段としての永久磁石、２７は熱転写リボン、３１は

Claims (1)

  1. 【実用新案登録請求の範囲】 多数の発熱素子を有するサーマルへ゛シトを常には第１
    の保持手段により印字用紙から離間したリリース位置に
    保持し、データの印字時にサーマルヘッドを第２の保持
    手段により熱転写リボンを介して前記印字用紙に圧接す
    る圧接位置に保持するとともに所要の発熱素子を発熱さ
    せて前記熱転写リボンにコーティングされた熱溶融性イ
    ンクを印字用紙に転写して所要の文字を印字用紙上に印
    字するサーマルプリンタにおいて、 前記サーマルヘッドを前記リリース位置と圧接位置との
    間で移動させる作動手段と、 印字データが入力されるたびにリセットされ、そのデー
    タが印字された後計数動作を開始するカウンタと、 そのカウンタの内容が所定値に達したとき前記作動手段
    を動作してサーマルヘッドを圧接位置からＩＪ　ＩＪ−
    ス位置へ移動するように制御する制御手段とを備えたこ
    とを特徴とするサーマルプリンタ。
