は、汚泥掻寄機を配設したる矩形沈殿池に於て、上記汚
泥掻寄機の掻寄側及びレターン側のフライト間に沈殿池
側壁にて支持されたフレームに水深方向に多段に沈殿床
を設けると共にこの各段沈殿床の中央部を貫通して回転
軸を設け、この回転軸には各段沈殿床上の汚泥を掻き寄
せるスクレーパを突設し、該軸を駆動し、さらに上記各
段沈殿床にはその半径方向の汚泥落下口を設けてなるも
ので、これにて駆動されるスクレーパにより沈殿床上に
沈降し、且掻き集められた沈降汚泥を汚泥落下口より下
段側沈殿床上へ順次落下せしめ、最終的に沈殿池底面上
に落下させ、掻寄側のフライトにて汚泥ホッパーへ集泥
するようにし、汚水中の汚泥を効率的に沈降除去するよ
うになしたことを特徴とする。

て多段沈殿装置の各沈殿床間にそのほとんどが流入され
沈殿床の機能が効率良く活用され小さな沈殿池でも効率
的な汚泥除去を行える利点がある。
