When received, the corresponding device specified by the configuration control word B is selected, and when the device is selected, the record specified by the configuration control words A and B is searched, and when the target record is detected, the data is written. When the write operation is completed, the optical disk device is disconnected and an interrupt is generated to the central processing unit.

Since the optical disk board used in optical disk devices cannot rewrite data once it has been written, the central processing unit must read the written data to check whether the write operation was performed normally. There is. Therefore, the central processing unit executes a task word meaning a read operation on the input/output device. When the input/output control device receives a task word indicating a read operation, it selects the device, searches for the record specified by the configuration control words A and B, and when the target record is detected, does not read the data. When the read operation is completed, the device is disconnected and an interrupt is generated to the central processing unit. When the central processing unit receives this interrupt, it checks for errors. If there is no error, the process ends normally; if there is an error, the central processing unit registers the previously written record as invalid in the management table in the software, extracts a record that can be replaced from the management table, and writes a new, separate record. Execute the write operation on the record again. After writing, as described above, it is necessary to execute a read command to confirm the normality of the data.

ることにある。<Summary of the Invention> The present invention has been made to eliminate the above-mentioned drawbacks of the conventional technology. The purpose of the present invention is to instruct the instructions of the central processing unit with extended read/write instructions and alternative cylinder address information. A new instruction is provided to control the input/output control unit, and a storage area for storing the instruction, an area for storing information on the cylinder address in which the operation is being executed, and a control byte area for controlling the operation are provided in the storage unit where control information of the input/output control unit is stored. By setting bits in the control byte to indicate that the verify east alternative record is being processed or the alternative cylinder is being processed, independent operations such as write operation, verify operation, data cancellation, and alternative processing can be performed. By automatically performing the following steps (no record) → seek to alternative cylinder →, the number of interrupts to the central processing unit is reduced and the processing speed of the central processing unit is increased, and data cancellation and alternative processing are performed automatically by the central processing unit This system eliminates the need for detailed management, eliminates the need for a large amount of memory capacity, automatically cancels data and performs alternative processing without the central processing unit being aware of it, and allows optical disk devices to be controlled with the same program. An object of the present invention is to provide an output control device.
