    【実用新案登録請求の範囲】
  1. シリンダ壁の外周に形成されるウォータジャケットの外
    壁をシリンダブロック本体と別体のパネル材で形成した
    内燃機関のシリンダブロックにおいて、シリンダブロッ
    クのアッパデツキの下面に、ヘッドボルト締付用のネジ
    孔付近に位置して隣り合う両シリンダ壁の上端から中央
    にかけて連結する補強リブを形成すると共に、補強リブ
    を貫通してウォータジャケットの冷却水をシリンダヘッ
    ド側に送り出す冷却水路を形成したことを特徴とする内
    燃機関のシリンダブロック。
