  1. シリンダブロックに構成されているライチ嵌大穴にシリ
    ンダライナを嵌入し、そのシリンダライナの外側にウォ
    ータジャケットが形成される内燃機関用シリンダにおい
    て、前記つす一タジャケットを構成しているシリンダラ
    イナ側の、少なくともスラスト側と反スラスト側には、
    ステンレス鋼薄板が張設されていることを特徴とする内
    燃機関用シリンダ。
