Abstract

PURPOSE:To decrease reduction of a waiting time to a caller by connecting a main wire incoming call not responded for a prescribed time to an incoming register so as to allow a caller itself to dial a pulse additionally thereby being connected directly to a desired called party. CONSTITUTION:When a response is obtained within a prescribed time, a response supervisory timer 4 informs it through an information transfer path (b) to a central controller 3 that the response supervisory timer is made ineffective and the response is detected. If no response is obtained within a prescribed time, the response supervisory timer 4 informs non-response information to the central controller 3 through the information transfer path (b). The central controller 3 receiving the non-response information from the response supervisory timer 4 cancels the main wire incoming display to a main wire attendant board 2, connects the incoming main wire trunk 1 to an incoming register (IR)5, a dial tone DT is transmitted from the incoming register 6 to the caller via the trunk line so as to urge an additional dial.

MtJ)4に設定する。応答監視タイマー装置4は中、
央制御装置3から受信した上記情報により着信局線トラ
ンク1への局線中継台2からの応答を情報伝達路Cを通
して監視する。一定時間内に応答を検出した場合、応答
監視タイマー装置4は応答監視タイマーを無効にし応答
検出した旨を情報伝達路すを通して中央制御装置3に通
知する。応答検出情報を受信した中央制御装置3は応答
監視タイマー装置4を復旧させ、着信局線トランクlと
応答した局線中継台2とを通話路網(SW)5を介して
接続する。ここで、一定時間内に応答を検出できなかっ
た場合、応答監視タイマー装置4は無応答情報を情報伝
達路すを通し°C中央制御装置3に通知する。応答監視
タイマー装置4から無応答情報を受信した中央制御装置
