Claims

[Scope of utility model registration request]

(1) A color cathode ray tube characterized in that an insulating film is coated on the surface facing the inner surface of the panel side wall of the frame that supports the skirt of the shadow mask.

(2) The color cathode ray tube according to claim 1, wherein the applied portion of the insulating film is closer to the phosphor screen than the end surface of the conductive film formed on the inner surface of the panel side wall.
