いて、前記チャンバーを壁体によって２つの室に画成す
るとともに、前記■型エンジンの前方に位置するシリン
ダブロックに連結した排気管を前記チャンバーの一方の
室に連通させるとともに、後方に位置するシリンダブロ
ックに連結した排気管をチャンバーの他方の室に連通さ
せ、かつ前記チャンバーに形成された２つの室をパイプ
によって連通させるとともに、前記一方の室とマフラー
とをパイプによって連結し、該パイプ内の前記チャンバ
ー内に位置する部分に排気ガス浄化用の触媒を配置する
