Abstract

PURPOSE:To stabilize gearing by securing a bearing holder of cover-shape to the outside of crank case while supporting the crank shaft sections at the opposite sides of crank gear contained in said holder on the crank case and bearing holder. CONSTITUTION:An engine is provided with two parallel crank shafts where crank gears 20, 21 provided at the leading edge of each crank shaft 1 are coupled through large gears 25, 26 to single inverted shaft 12. Here, a cover-shaped bearing holder 16 is secured to the outside of crank case 7 to contain the crank gears 20, 21 and large gears 25, 26 in the bearing holder 16.
