Abstract

PURPOSE:To facilitate attachement of an apparatus to a practical line preventing contamination of permeate side in the stage for exchanging hollow yarn cartridge by providing both an inlet of liquid to be treated and an outlet of permeate to a cover body. CONSTITUTION:An opening (A) communicating with an outlet 13 of permeate is provided to the center of the bottom wall of a cover body 2 fitted liquid-tightly to an opening of a case body 1, and an opening communicating with an inlet 14 of the liquid to be treated is provided adjacent to the opening (A). When hollow yarn is deteriorated or blocked, the liquid to be treated in the case body is first discharged from a discharge port 21; the cover body 2 is separated from the case body 1 by removing a band coupling 17 and the hollow yarn cartridge 3 is taken out of the case body. Then, a new hollow yarn cartridge is contained in the case body and the case body is fitted to the cover body. In this way, the exchange of the hollow yarn cartridge is performed easily.

Conventionally, a fluid separation device using a hollow fiber cartridge in which the open ends of a large number of hollow fibers each having one end closed and the curved end open and fixed with an adhesive is known from Japanese Patent Application Laid-open No. 50-149587. ing. However, in such a fluid separation device, the inlet for the liquid to be treated and the outlet for the permeated liquid are provided in a lid body having a housing and a header chamber, respectively. If the hollow fiber cartridge (outlet tube) is fixed by piping, it will not be possible to easily remove the hollow fiber cartridge in the housing when it is desired to be replaced. In order to eliminate the drawbacks of the above-mentioned device, the present applicant
No. 73501 is equipped with a housing containing a hollow fiber cartridge in which one end of the hollow fiber is closed and a curved end is open, and the open end is focused and fixed with adhesive, and a lid body having a header chamber. We have proposed a fluid separation device that has an inlet for a liquid to be treated and an outlet for a permeated liquid in a housing.

Since such a device has an inlet for the liquid to be treated and an outlet for the permeate in the housing, even after piping the device, the lid body with the header chamber must be removed and the hollow fiber cartridge can be inserted into the upper part of the housing. It can be easily replaced by pulling it out.

However, in order to extract the hollow fiber cartridge from the upper part, it is necessary to have a space at the top of the apparatus to take out the cartridge, and it is practically difficult to have such a space. Furthermore, when a cartridge with cake or the like adhered to it is removed, the permeated liquid side is contaminated, and the periphery of the apparatus is also contaminated.

The inventors of the present invention have arrived at the present invention as a result of intensive studies aimed at providing an apparatus that solves the above-mentioned problems. That is, the present invention provides a hollow fiber car (IJ) in which the upper ends of a large number of hollow fibers whose lower ends are sealed and whose upper ends are open are bundled and fixed with an adhesive.
The cartridge is housed in a casing having an opening at the upper end, and a lid body having an inlet for the liquid to be treated and an outlet for the permeated liquid is attached to the casing in a liquid-tight manner, and the focusing fixing part of the hollow fiber cartridge is The hollow fiber cartridge is fluid-tightly attached to the lid so that it communicates with one opening of the lid, which has two openings on the bottom wall of the hollow fiber 75 that communicate with the inlet of the liquid to be treated and the outlet of the treated liquid. This is a fluid separation device with characteristics.

The novel idea of the present invention is that both the inlet of the liquid to be treated and the outlet of the permeated liquid are provided in the lid. The idea is that it is easy to attach the device to the actual fin, and when replacing the hollow fiber cartridge, the housing and hollow fiber cartridge are attached and detached in the same direction, making it easier to attach and detach the device. It has the excellent effect that it requires only a small amount of surface and that the permeate side is less likely to be contaminated when the hollow fiber cartridge is replaced. Especially heat exposure: [! I! If the liquid inlet and permeate outlet are arranged in a straight line (in-fin), arrangement of the device and piping are easy and effective.

The device of the present invention comprises a hollow fiber cartridge 3, a casing 1 for housing the cartridge, and a lid 2 for attaching the casing. The hollow fiber cartridge 3 is attached to the lid body 2 using an upper support method that supports the convergence fixing part 5 of the hollow fiber cartridge, and a self-supporting member 6 that supports a large number of hollow fibers 4, and a lower end of the hollow fibers is sealed. There is a lower support method in which a fixing part 5', which is fixed with adhesive so as to be fixed, is supported by a support member 7 provided protruding from the lower part of the casing. For example, as shown in FIG. 6, a hollow fiber cartridge of the top support type is assembled and fixed with adhesive so that the upper end of each hollow fiber 4 is open, and on the other hand, the lower end opening is filled with adhesive to close the lower end opening. A hollow fiber cartridge in which the lower ends of the hollow fibers 4 are formed into a loop shape as shown in FIG. There are advantages to improving. As shown in FIG. 8, a hollow fiber cartridge 4 with its lower end sealed is accommodated in a self-supporting net-like or porous cylindrical body 6 made of plastic or metal, or as shown in FIG. 11, the lower end is sealed. There is a hollow fiber cartridge in which the stopped hollow fibers 4 are housed in a porous protection tube 8 made of ceramic or resin and which can be used for primary doors.

The liquid to be treated 14 and the permeated liquid outlet 13 may be provided on the upper wall of the lid 2, if necessary. The opening communicating with the permeate outlet 13 has a focusing fixing part 5 of the hollow fiber cartridge 3.
The hollow fiber cartridge is fluid-tightly attached via a packing 15 so that the hollow fibers 4 opening in the hollow fibers are in communication with each other. 17
is a band coupling that liquid-tightly connects the housing 1 and the lid 2 via a gasket 18. These packskin 15,
181C, the treated liquid chamber 19 and the permeated liquid chamber 20 have a liquid-tight structure with the wall membrane of the hollow fibers separated. That is, the liquid to be treated is transferred to the liquid chamber 191C outside the hollow fiber 3 from the introduction pipe.
A part of the component that enters and permeates through the hollow fiber passes through the hollow fiber through the passage inside the hollow fiber, collects the permeate chamber 201C, and is taken out through the permeate outlet pipe. On the other hand, components that do not pass through the hollow fibers are appropriately taken out through the lower discharge port 21 of the housing 1. When the hollow fibers have deteriorated or become clogged, first remove the liquid to be treated inside the housing from the discharge port 21, then remove the cover 1 ring 17, separate the lid 2 and the housing 1, and remove the hollow fiber cartridge 3. The hollow fiber cartridge can be easily replaced by taking out the hollow fiber cartridge from the housing, then storing a new hollow fiber cartridge in the housing, and attaching the housing to the lid.

According to the present invention, when it is desired to replace the hollow fiber cartridge, this can be easily done by removing the housing. In addition, in that case, even if the separation device of the present invention is fixed to the device, there is no need to remove the inlet for the liquid to be treated (inlet pipe) and the outlet for the permeate (outlet pipe), so the hollow fiber cartridge can be replaced. It's extremely easy.
