Abstract

PURPOSE:To attain the monitoring and checking of recorded information with a simple constitution by providing closely the 1st and 2nd heads, reproducing a signal recorded by the 1st head by the 2nd head, and recording a comparison output signal between this reproducing signal and the original signal to be recorded, by the 1st head. CONSTITUTION:When a head 43 records a signal on a track 50, head 44 reproduces the signal while following the head 43. Then a reproducing signal is amplified by a reproducing circuit 61 and fed to a comparator circuit 62. A comparison circuit 62 compares a recording signal by the head 43 reproduced by the head 44 and the original data from an original data recording circuit 63 and if a difference exists between the both, the head 43 records a signal representing an error signal of the track 50 into an area 50a by the indication of a comparison circuit 62 and records the signal on the track 51 again. Moreover, the same data is recorded on one track and also the adjacent track independently of the repetitive recording by the said monitoring at the record for error correction at reproduction.

Activate the switch 74. Advantageously, during reproduction, the signals from 1 to 1 of the two trees are compared, and h, which has a high output level of the carrier wave, is always selected to correct the error at '1' in C1. In this way, the first head 43 (-iit! record 1)
(Monitor the data on the second head 44, and if there is an error, it will not indicate that there is an error on that track, record the signal on IID, and record the data on the next 1-rack again. Therefore, even if an error occurs in record 11, -, it can be ignored when 1r] is generated, and 1
11) It is possible to use a highly reliable digital recorder (1!NOζ).Also, even in a so-called household VTR, this lid configuration can be easily achieved with a few changes. jIIfil: It can be repeated loudly and is highly practical. More than the effects of the invention - I will explain the present invention J: If it is simple (7
Even though it is a +1 configuration, it is possible to monitor and check the recorded information, greatly improving the reliability of the information.
