Abstract
PURPOSE:To shorten a time required for checking the reproduction to be executed immediately after recording a data, by dividing the circumference of a disk into a lot of sectors, and constituting so that one track length is shorter than the circumferential length of the disk. CONSTITUTION:A lot of spiral and continuous track groups are placed on a disk 1. Now, when the circumference of the disk is equally divided into eight parts, each area 29-48 which has been equally divided is a sector, and its sector number becomes a continuous and serial number corresponding to each track. For instance, a track T1 is constituted of sectors 30-35, and a track T3 is constituted of sectors 42-47. That is to say, the track is divided at the position marked with , and also all the sectors are provided as those which are able to record and reproduce.
