Abstract

PURPOSE:To eliminate the necessity for increasing number of operating state display lamps such as trunk line lamps even if accommodated lines are increased by providing a display section to a key telephone system. CONSTITUTION:When the user of the key telephone system KT' makes a call, a master device SW' transmits the state display signal of trunk lines CL1-CLn to the outgoing telephone system KT' through a line S1. The telephone system KT' transmits the trunk line state display signal reaching a signal reception section R by using a processor MPU to a display control section DCT to display a message displaying the operating state of the trunk lines CL1-CLn.
