Abstract

PURPOSE:A repellent against blood-sucking annelid containing diethyltoluamide or/and a pyrethroid based insecticide as a repellent constituent, a base and if necessary a fixative without eccumulation properties nor toxicity to humans and cattle. CONSTITUTION:A repellent against blood-sucking annelid containing (A) a base, e.g. vaseline, and (B) one or more repellent components selected from pyrethroid based insecticides slelected from allethrin, phtalthrin and resmethrin and if necessary (C) a hydrogenated oil, e.g. coconut oil, and/or stearic acid glyceride as a fixative for improving the fixing property for weather and maintaing the repellent effect for a long term. The above-mentioned repellent is obtained by melt kneading 1-10pts.wt., preferably 2-5pts.wt. component (B) with the rest of the component (A) to give 100pts.wt. repellent, and if necessary kneading 1- 10pts.wt. component (C) therewith.

本発明者らは前記の如き実情に鑑み鋭意研究の結果、吸
血性環形動物忌避剤の忌避成分としてジエチルトルアミ
ドおよびピレスロイド系殺虫剤が有効であり、しかも蓄
積性や人寄毒性がないこと、および保留剤として水素添
加油脂および/またはステアリン酸グリセライドを加え
ることにより、きわめて長時間忌避効果を持続させるこ
とを見い出し本発明を完成したものである。
