どの布地にプリーツを設けるための連続プリーツ加工装
置及び方法に関する。従来プIJ−ツ加ニブレス機は平
板状のプレス台に予め仮の折からプレスするものでバッ
チ式であり、多量処理には不向きである。又、斯様な従
来のプリーツ加ニブレス機では化学繊維の布地には相当
期間プリーツ加工の効果があるが、ウール布地では短期
間でプリーツが消滅する。この欠点を補う為に、プレス
加工を行なう直前に被加工布地に薬液を吹き付ける方法
も採用されているが、この方法では薬液で新品の布地を
汚損するおそれがあり、又、余計な手間と資材を要する

スチームを吹込み加湿加温し、次いでヒーター4−3に
て加温し、ロールプレス6−2でプレスし、次いでヒー
ター4−4で加温し、更にロールプレス6−3でプレス
して排出ベルト8上に送り出す。尚コンベアベルト5の
スピードはプリーツ加工する布地等の条件によって調整
することは自由である。通常3〜30分/サイクルで十
分である。又、ヒーターの温度は90〜150℃で使用
