DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION The present invention is a novel method obtained by processing a flat yarn with metallic luster such as lame yarn (a flat yarn made by metal plating and slitting a synthetic resin film such as polyester). It concerns decorative threads.

Conventionally, lame thread is that! In addition to being used in woven and knitted fabrics, it is often used in combination with other yarns to create a special additive system. For example, there are those in which the core yarn is covered with lame yarn, and those in which the core yarn is dyed with rayon or the like, and the lame yarn is wrapped around it in a twisted manner. However, such processed yarns using conventionally known lame yarns have the drawback that the metallic luster, which is the most characteristic of lame yarns, is simple and cannot have depth. In contrast, the present invention is characterized in that a decorative yarn with deep luster is obtained by applying a special addition to a glossy flat yarn such as a lame yarn using an elastic yarn. A state in which an elastic thread is stretched and wound around a glossy flat yarn such as thread, and then the glossy flat yarn is contracted in a wavy manner due to the elastic contraction of the elastic yarn, and the elastic yarn is entangled with this. It is characterized by the following.

According to the present invention, when an elastic yarn known by a name such as spandex is wound around a glossy flat yarn such as a lame yarn in a stretched state, when the elastic yarn contracts, the lame yarn will shrink and take on a wavy shape. This product has a shape in which the glossy flat yarn is bent in a wavy manner, and the elastic yarn is entangled with this to maintain the wavy bent shape of the glossy flat yarn. Therefore, in terms of appearance, the glossy flat threads are bent in a relatively regular wave pattern, giving it a very deep and brilliant luster. Since the decorative yarn thus obtained has elasticity as a result of using an elastic yarn, it is particularly suitable for use in knitting.

As for the method of winding the elastic yarn around the lame yarn, it is possible to simply wrap one elastic yarn around the lame yarn in one direction, but it is also possible to wind two elastic yarns around the lame yarn in opposite directions. Then, no torsional stress is applied to the product obtained after the elastic thread is shrunk, and a decorative thread with a stable bent waveform can be obtained. Note that the lame yarn may be made more suitable as a knitting yarn by using a plating yarn such as woolly nylon. Furthermore, when a single elastic yarn is wound around a lame yarn in only one direction, it is desirable to untwist it in the opposite direction to avoid the adverse effects of torsional stress on the finished product. Also, if possible, the elastic thread should be thinner than the glossy flat thread so that it is not noticeable.

また弾性糸を光沢扁平糸に巻きつける際の伸長の程度に

好ましくは3倍程度の長さに伸長せしめるのがよい。
Further, the degree of elongation when winding the elastic thread around the glossy flat thread can be selected arbitrarily, but it is preferable to elongate it to 2 to 5 times the length, most preferably about 3 times the length.

Embodiments of the present invention will now be described with reference to the drawings. 1st
The figure shows a state in which two elastic threads (2), (2) are wound in opposite directions around a glossy flat thread, such as a lame thread (1), in a stretched state. In this state, remove the elastic thread (2).

When (2) is shrunk, the lame thread (1) shrinks into a wave-like bent state, and a decorative thread (3) as shown in Fig. 2 with elastic threads (2+ and (21) intertwined therewith) is completed.

The lame yarn is preferably formed by slitting a polyester film coated with metal, and has a beautiful metallic luster. In addition to so-called lame threads, flat threads with metallic luster can also be used in the present invention.

It is also possible to use a lame yarn made by aligning woolly nylon in advance and pliing it together. To further describe an example in this case, a clear type woolly nylon [15D (denier)] is added to the lame thread (120 cut) for reinforcement, and the threads are doubled together, and spandex (2oD) is added to this as an elastic thread. 900 per meter when stretched to double the length
After winding the elastic yarn around the yarn, the elastic yarn was contracted to bend the lame yarn in a wavy manner, and then the lame yarn was twisted back by 150 combs of 1 mm to obtain a decorative yarn in which the lame yarn was regularly bent in a wavy manner in one direction. When long socks were knitted using the decorative yarn thus obtained, a knitted product was obtained in which the metallic luster of the lame yarn was deep and brilliant.

As another example, two elastic threads [Spandex (Clear Tide Espa 20D)] are wound in opposite directions around the lame thread, and this is shrunk to create a decorative thread of Woolly Nylon 20D.
When tights were knitted by inter-knitting with D, a product with the same gorgeous, deep luster could be obtained. In this example, two elastic yarns are wound around the lame yarn in opposite directions, so there is no torsional stress on the finished decorative yarn, the knitting operation is easy, and the wavy bends of the lame yarn do not get distorted. .
