Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide the title mechanism which enable the driving at a proper setting position for mounting or detaching thereof by a method wherein the angle of rotation is divided by several stages in a printing press and any set angles of rotation are extracted by stages with a detection mechanism so as to be automatically switched over at a proper timing angle when it runs at a desired rotation speed. CONSTITUTION:An angle of machine rotation detector section (A) detects the angle of rotation of a printing press with a rotational position detector 1 and inputs the pulse output thereof and a set reference signal from an angle of rotation detector 2 into a multi-stage counter 3 of a desired angle output setting section (B). The setting section (B) sets any angles by multi- stages during one revolution and outputs them as driving timing to other sections. A speed- wise angle selection setting section (C) sets outputs of a desired speed in the combination of the input of a speed detector at a machine rotational speed detecting section (E) of a printing press and a speed setter. An input standby control section (D) combine the desired angle output setting section (B) and the speed-wise angle selection setting section (B) to pick up a timing output in a desired angle of rotation at any speed. Depending on the timing outputs [outputs of the components (B) and (C)] and a standby circuit 4, a proper driving timing is obtained for respective units and cylinders of the printing press to produces a cylinder driving output.
