Abstract

PURPOSE:To automatically pull out, stop and pull back a power cord and reduce the thickness of a cord reel, by using the power cord as a part of a stopper mechanism. CONSTITUTION:To pull out a power cord 21, a guide 24 is put in such a position A as to be in contact with a pin 25 secured on a case A22 for a reel 20. At that time, no braking force is applied to the cord 21, so that it is easily pulled out of the case A22. When the force pulling out the power cord 21 is decreased, the cord is slightly wound by a helical spring, and the guide 24 performs a pendulum motion because of the friction between the guide and the cord so that the guide is separated from the pin 25 and put in a position B. As a result, the power cord 21 is bent in a chevron shape and automatically stopped in a pulled-out position. To wind the power cord 21, the lever of the guide 24 is tilted down to return the guide to the original position A to eliminate its stopping action. As a result, the cord 21 is wound back by the force of the helical spring.

When pulling out the power cord 4, the pawl 9 climbs the mountain 11 of the ratchet part 2 and compresses the spring 8 accordingly. Then, when it reaches the position of the valley 12, it is suddenly pushed against the valley 12 by the force of the spring 8, which had been compressed until then, and when this action is repeated many times, a clicking noise is generated.

(Structure of the Invention) The cord reel of the present invention includes a reel that includes a mainspring and winds up a power cord, a power cord, and a cord that is located in front of the pull-out portion of the power cord pulled out from the reel and that allows the power cord to pass through. A guide that can be interlocked with a pendulum and has a through hole in a cross-sectional shape, a fixed pin that defines the pendulum movement of the guide, and a fixed pin that is provided integrally with the guide and whose pendulum movement is forced by an external force. With the structure having a lever, when the power cord is pulled out and the pulling force is weakened, the power cord rewinds a little due to the unwinding force of the mainspring, and the guide makes a pendulum movement due to the frictional force between the power cord and the guide, and the guide The power cord is deformed into a dogleg shape and functions as a stopper at that position, and the stopper is released using a lever.

In FIGS. 4 and 5, 20 is a reel equipped with a mainspring for winding up the power cord 21, 22 and 23 are for rotationally supporting the reel 20, case A and case B 124 are case A 22 and case B 23. Guide 7.25I''i guide 2 that is supported by and performs an oscillatory motion
A pin 26 fixed to the case A 22 in order to restrict the pendulum movement of 4 is a lever that is directly connected to the guide 24 and forces the guide 24 to make the pendulum movement by an external force.

First, when pulling out the cord, the guide 24 is in the position shown by ■ in FIG. 5, and the power cord 21 can be easily pulled out. Next, if you weaken the force of pulling out the power cord 21,
The cord is slightly rewound by the mainspring, and due to the contact friction between the guide 24 and the power cord 21, the guide 24 performs an oscillatory motion and reaches the position shown in FIG. At this time, the guide 24
bends the power cord 21 into a dogleg shape, thereby performing the cord stator function. Next, when the lever 26 is operated so that the guide 24 returns to its original position, the strut horn and -

(Effects of the Invention) As explained above, the cord reel of the present invention particularly has the following features:
By using the power cord as part of the stop mechanism, it is possible to stop and release the stop when the power cord is pulled out and pulled back without using any functional parts including springs.
Moreover, since it does not require a ratchet mechanism like the conventional one, it does not generate noise and has advantages such as being able to be made thinner.
