Abstract

PURPOSE:To make it possible to treat all of various business papers by one apparatus, by almost straightly forming each of a continuous form paper passage and a slip paper passage in a printer apparatus. CONSTITUTION:The printing part 3 formed between a printing head 2 and a platen 1, friction driving feed roller apparatuses 5, 6 arrangned before and behind the printing part and a pull driving type pin driving apparatus 4 are straightly arranged. In addition, a friction driving paper discharge roller apparatus 12 is arranged in the vicinity of the pin driving apparatus 4 while stackers 9, 14 are provided behind the pin driving apparatus 4. In this case, a slip paper passage B is formed so as to be branched from the space between the feed roller apparatus 6 provided in the downstream side of the printing part 3 and the pin driving apparatus 4 to pass in close vicinity to the pin driving apparatus 4. By this mechanism, a continuous form paper passage A and the slip paper passage B are straightly formed so as not to be bent as possible.

・Technical background The paper that is printed by the printer device of the information processing device is
Mainly continuous paper and cut paper made of high-quality paper,
Special paper such as postcards and postcards, paper with a large number of copies,
There is also an increasing demand for printing processing on thick paper and the like. The paper feeding mechanism within the printer device is different for paper that has marginal punch holes, such as continuous paper, and paper that does not, so both continuous paper and single-sheet paper can be printed. The printer device is provided with a paper path for continuous sheets and a paper path for cut sheets, with at least part of the paths being different.

Figure 2 shows another example of a conventional printer device.
The printing section 3, the feed roller devices 5 and 6, and the tractor 4 are arranged in a line to form a linear continuous paper path A, and there is a gap between the feed roller device 46 on the downstream side and the tofu A cutting guide 7 and a fixed guide 8 are provided to form a paper path B that guides the cut sheets to a stacker 9 provided below the printing section 3. In the printer device shown in the second figure, when processing continuous sheets, the driving rollers and driven rollers of the feed roller devices 5 and 6 are separated from each other, and the switching guide 7 is placed in the horizontal position shown by the imaginary line in the figure. is linearly fed by a tractor 4, and when processing cut sheets, the drive roller and driven roller of the feed roller device 5.6 are brought into pressure contact, and the switching kite 7 is placed in the oblique position shown by the solid line in the figure. After the slip is discharged from the feed roller device 6, it is turned by the lower surface of the cutter guide 7 and the fixed guide 8, and is discharged to the stacker 9.

Printers with this conventional structure do not have any problems when using high-quality paper as the printing paper, but when printing on special paper such as postcards and envelopes, multi-sheet copy paper, or thick paper, etc. When used, there were problems such as paper feeding becoming impossible and line feed accuracy deteriorating. This is because there are bends X and Y that cause a large turning angle in the paper path of conventional printer devices. Misalignment occurs, and in the structure shown in the second figure, the line feed accuracy during feeding of the cut sheet deteriorates due to resistance from the bending part Y. Also, as the paper thickness increases, the bending parts X and Y
A situation has arisen in which the resistance when paper passes through becomes large, making it impossible to feed the paper. Therefore, in conventional information processing systems, when printing on special paper such as envelopes and cardboard, a dedicated printer is installed in addition to the regular printer to print on such special paper. The economic burden of introducing an information processing system is
This caused an increase in VJ.

・Structure of the Invention As shown in FIGS. 3 to 5, the printer device of this invention forms a continuous sheet path A and a cut sheet path B in a straight line without bending them as much as possible. To explain it with reference numerals, it includes a printing section 3 formed between the print head 2 and the platen 1, friction-driven feed roller devices 5 and 6 disposed before and after the printing section, A tension-driven pin drive device 4 is arranged linearly, a friction-driven discharge roller device 12 is arranged near the pin drive device 4, and stackers 9 and 14 are provided behind the pin drive device M4. , the cut sheet path B is branched from the space 10 between the feed roller device 6 and the pin drive device 4 on the downstream side of the printing section 3, and is formed so as to pass in the immediate vicinity of the pin drive device 4. .

- Embodiment of the Invention In the first embodiment shown in FIG. 3, continuous paper is processed in a straight line, and the cut paper path B is branched downward from 10 between the feed roller device 6 and the tractor 4. It was formed. A switching guide 7a similar to the conventional structure shown in FIG. When in the state, the upper surface guides the continuous sheet to the tractor 4, and when the state is in the inclined state, the lower surface guides the cut sheet to the paper discharge roller device 12.

Since the continuous paper is fed while being continuously pulled out by the tractor 4, in the case where the continuous paper path A is deflected in this way, a guide for deflecting the continuous paper towards the tractor 4 is required. Although it does not need to be provided, it is desirable to provide a fixed guide 13 to guide the front edge of the cut sheet so that it does not collide with the tractor 4, since the front edge of the open sheet may be bent. In the case where the cut sheet path B is formed in a perfectly straight line like this, if there is no problem with the printing head temperature, it will not bend at all like a metal plate for a long time.
Print processing on a single print medium is also possible.

In the embodiment shown in FIGS. 3 and 4, in which the single-sheet paper path B is formed by branching below the continuous paper path A, the tractor In order to avoid this, in the illustrated embodiment, the stacker 14 is configured so that it can be folded in half upwardly at approximately the center of the stacker 14, and the stacker 14 is folded upward in half in the substantially central portion thereof. During processing, the rear half 14b of the stacker 14 is bent upward as shown by the imaginary line in the figure, and the continuous sheets discharged from the i-tractor 4 are transferred to the rear half 1 of the stacker.
4b to guide the discharge. here,
15 is a pin that pivotally connects the front half 14a and the rear half 14b of the stacker 14;
These brackets are formed at both end portions of the rear portion 4a and the rear half portion 1.4b, respectively.

The third embodiment shown in FIG. 5 is a saw saw in which the continuous sheet path A is formed in a straight line and the cut sheet path B is deflected upward. 7b is a switching guide provided swingably by a pin 11; 17 is a paper presser 18 of the tractor 4;
This is a single piece guide formed by extending the . In this way, when the cut paper path B is branched upward to the continuous paper path A, the continuous paper is discharged below the stacker 9.
There is no possibility that the stacker 9 will lengthen the ejection path for continuous sheets.

In all of the above embodiments, either the continuous sheet path or the cut sheet path is completely linear, but it is also possible to deflect both A and B to branch upward and downward. Of course it's a good thing.

・Effects of the Invention As described above, if the continuous paper path B is formed in a straight line without bending as much as possible during continuous paper processing in the printer device, line feed accuracy may be deteriorated due to the bending of the paper path. Since the situation where paper feeding becomes impossible due to the rigidity of the paper is avoided, it is possible to print not only on printing paper using high-quality paper but also on special paper such as M cylinders and thick paper. To obtain a printer device that can perform printing with high accuracy, that does not cause copying deviation even when using multiple sheets of printing paper, and that can process all types of paper with one device. equipment can be obtained.
