近年大容量記憶装置の如く、回転する磁気ヘッドにより
情報信号を記録再生する記憶装置が実用化されてきてい
る。このような記憶装置においては回転する磁気ヘッド
と外部の記録再生回路間の信号の授受は回転子と固定子
が摺動接触する方式と、非接触の回転トランスを用いる
方式とが考えられるが、前者は摺動雑音が発生しやすく
S/N比を低下させるので好ましくない。そこで後者の
回転トランスが好んで用いられる。ところでこのような
記憶装置が発展を続けるにつれて、情報処理速度を高め
る要求が強まり、多素子磁気ヘッド回転ヘッドとして採
用する動きが予想される。この場合回転トランスも多重
チャンネル化する必要がでてくるが、このような多重チ
ャンネルの回転トランスとして単に単一チャンネル用の
ものを、回転軸に対して同軸に多数配置する方式が考え
られるが、この場合実装構造が複雑になり、コンパクト
な構造を実現することが困難になるため高々2〜4チヤ
ンネルが限度である。

In this case, the rotary transformer will also need to be made into a multichannel transformer, but it is conceivable to simply arrange a large number of single-channel rotary transformers coaxially with respect to the rotation axis. In this case, the mounting structure becomes complicated and it is difficult to realize a compact structure, so the number of channels is limited to 2 to 4.

スの組合せによつてチャンネル選択マトリックス4にお
いて特定の1チャンネルが選択される。選択された信号
は信号用回転トランス7を介して回転磁気ヘッドに伝達
される。このとき同時にX選択用回転トランス8、Y選
択用回転トランス9によつてX、Yの選択信号も回転磁
気ヘッド部に伝達される。この伝達の方式としてはX、
Yの内容が例えばそれぞれnビットであるとした時f、
、f。・・・fNの周波数にX、Y変調回路5、6で変
調して伝達する方法でもよιル、或いは単一の周波数F
を、振幅を変化させて、振幅a。、2ao、・・・na
、の如く振幅変化を伝達する方法でもよい。このように
回転トランス8、9を通つた選択信号はX復調回路1O
、Y復調回路11によつて元のX、Y選択信号に復元さ
れ、チャンネル選択マトリックス12に導かれ、特定の
磁気ヘッド13を選択する。このチャンネル選択マトリ
ックスとしては磁気ドラム記憶装置や磁気ディスク記憶
装置にて公知の回路構成のものであつて差支えない。ま
た、磁気ヘッドのチャンネル数があまり多くないときは
X,Yのマトリックス構成にせず、xのみの選択信号で
nビットの選択コードによつて選択ゲートを開閉する方
式をとることもできる。このような回転磁気ヘッドの復
調回路や選択マトリックス部分に与える直流電源は交流
電源14から電源用回転トランス15を介して与えられ
る交流信号を整流回路16により直流に変換して与えら
れる。このようにX,Yの、マトリックスで全チャンネ
ルを走査することにより、対応するすべてのチャンネル
の磁気ヘッドに記録信号を導くことができる。このとき
、チャンネル選択マトリックス12と磁気ヘッド13の
間に記録・再生増幅器を設けることも可能である。再生
時には、記録時と同様にX,Y選択信号2,3が与えら
れ、チャンネル選択マトリックス12を介して選択され
たチャンネルの再生信号が信号用回転トランス7を経て
チャンネル選択マトリックス4に伝えられ、指定された
チャンネル数X,Yから特定のチャンネルの,情報をと
り出すことができる。このように発明の方式によれば信
号用回転トランスを1個と、X,Y又はいずれか一方の
選択用回転トランスと電源用回転トランスを用けること
により任意の多重チャンネルの記録・再生磁気ヘッドが
可能になり、情報の高記録密度化が可能になる。
