Claims

[Scope of utility model registration request]

(1) - A negative electrode made of a light metal and a positive electrode mainly composed of porous carbon are housed in a metal case that also serves as a polar terminal via a separator, and a metal lid is placed in the upper opening of the metal case. A terminal of the other polarity made of a metal pipe is inserted into the lid via an insulating material, and an electrolytic solution containing an oxyhalide as a positive electrode active material is housed in the metal can through the metal pipe. Further, in a non-aqueous solvent battery having a structure in which the metal pipe is sealed with a metal stopper, the metal stopper has a flange portion at an upper end that comes into contact with the upper end surface of the metal pipe, and a part of the outer peripheral surface. A non-aqueous solvent battery characterized in that the non-aqueous solvent battery has a structure in which the pipe has a bulging portion that comes into contact with the inner circumferential surface of the pipe.

(2) The non-aqueous solvent battery according to claim 1, wherein the bulge on the outer peripheral surface of the metal stopper has a spherical cross section.

(3) The non-aqueous solvent battery according to claim 1, wherein the bulge on the outer peripheral surface of the metal stopper has a V-shaped cross section.
