Although this method of manufacturing a coated metal plate is high in terms of productivity, it has the disadvantage that the cut end surface of the metal substrate is coated with resin and is exposed, causing metal rust and deteriorating the appearance.

The present invention has been made in view of these drawbacks, and will be described below with reference to the embodiments shown in FIGS. 1 to 4 in accordance with the processing order.

第1図は加工工程の前段全般を示すものである。FIG. 1 shows the entire first stage of the processing process.

In the figure, 1 is a metal substrate made of a band-shaped material (hoop material) made of, for example, a steel plate or an iron plate, and is continuously moved by feed rolls 2, 2. Reference numeral 3 denotes an extrusion molding machine, which continuously coats a continuously moving metal substrate 1 with a resin coating 4 made of, for example, vinyl chloride resin, polyester resin, polypropylene resin, or the like.

(Figure 2 shows this state) Of course, the heating roll 8
rotates in normal and reverse directions, and when in normal rotation it covers the cut end 6a at the rear with respect to the feed direction, and when in reverse it covers the cut end 6a at the front in the feed direction while further narrowing the roll interval. The thickness of the resin coating 4 is controlled to be constant by the heating roll 8, and roll gloss is generated on the resin surface, improving the aesthetic appearance.
FIG. 3 shows the latter stage of the processing process. In the figure, reference numeral 9 denotes a heating mold, which melts the resin gathered on the cut end surface with heat, shapes it into a regular shape, and then cools and solidifies it. After this process, a coated metal plate 6 as shown in FIG. 4 is obtained.
As described above, the coated metal plate manufacturing method of the present invention presses a heating roll against the resin surface to loosen the resin layer and move the resin to the cut end, and exposes the end surface of the metal substrate using the resin. Since it is characterized by covering the
While maintaining high productivity by producing coated metal sheets through continuous running, it was possible to prevent rust from occurring on the exposed metal portion of the cut end surface.
