Abstract

PURPOSE:To remove water intruded between a dam rubber and window frame and adhesive, by providing repellency to the dam rubber inserted between the window panel and window frame for preventing the adhesive from bulging. CONSTITUTION:A dam rubber 9 for preventing the adhesive from bulging into the cabin is provided on the inner face at the circumferential section of window panel 1. Said adhesive is filled in the outside of said dam rubber 9 to secure the window panel 1 and window frame 4. Here, the dam rubber 9 is formed with an adhesive section 9a with the window panel 1 and a shielding section 9b curved to the cabin said and repellency is provided to the dam rubber 9 itself. Description

差及び変形をカバーしきれずにわずかな隙間を生じるこ
とが多々あり、これらの隙間を通して毛細管現象に基づ
く水分の侵入が避けられないという欠点をも有している

ラバーに撥水性の機能を付与させることを主眼としてい
る。

によって食い止められて車室内へ侵入しない構造が得ら
れる。又、ウィンドフレーム4に生じた段差又はスポッ
ト溶接等の変形に基づく隙間から水分が侵入しても、破
水性を有するダムラバーに接する水の表面張力が相対的
に犬きくなるので、毛細管現象に基づく車室内への水分
の侵入が防止できるという効果を発揮し5て、自動■の
ウィンドパネル固定構造として用いて有用である。
