Abstract

PURPOSE:To decide on a destaticize position accurately by installing a device which destaticizes the no-image part of a photosensitive body with light on the top surface of a developing tank which develops a latent image on the photosensitive body. CONSTITUTION:Destaticizing lamp bodies L1 and L2 fitted onto the cover 3a of the developing tank 3 are provided with two lamps A and B, a slit S which limits the optical paths of their ligh emission, and an adjusting plate T which adjusts the opening area of an exit aperture. The developing tank 3 is arranged at an accurate position for the photosenstive body 1, so a destaticizing light source is positioned accurately. Therefore, the discharging area is determined accurately, and the need for a positioning guide, etc., dedicated to the optical destaticizing device is eliminated and to reduce the number of parts.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION Technical Field The present invention relates to a photographing machine, and more particularly to an optical static eliminating device for optically neutralizing a non-image area on a photoreceptor provided in a copying machine.

<Prior Art> There is the following method as a conventional 1d1 optical charge removal method for a non-image area when changing magnification. Note that the optical static eliminator is equipped with a light source.

(1) A method in which a photostatic charge eliminator is installed at a certain distance from the surface of the photoreceptor to perform photostatic charge removal. (2) A method in which a light emitting element optical charge remover is installed near the surface of the photoreceptor to perform photostatic charge removal.

In the method (1) above, it is difficult to determine the position on the photoconductor where static electricity is to be removed because it is far from the surface of the photoconductor, and the light source has a large amount of light because it is far away. is required.

In the method (2) above, since the light source is installed near the photoreceptor, the amount of light from the light source is small, but there are restrictions due to space constraints, and most of the methods are simply fitted with LEDs, wedge bulbs, etc. For this reason, in the boundary area between the original image area and the non-image area on the photoreceptor, the light emission for charge removal may proceed to an unnecessary part, and there is no means for accurately positioning and adjusting the charge removal position. This can easily lead to some inconvenient situations.

<Objective of the Invention> In order to improve the drawbacks of the above-mentioned systems, the present invention provides a copying machine having an optical charge removal device that can accurately determine the charge removal position with a small amount of light.

<Example> Hereinafter, the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the drawings. In the copying machine of this example, an optical static eliminator was developed so as to satisfy the following two conditions.

■ In copying machines (electrostatic type), due to problems such as the decay of the charge on the photoreceptor and the compactness of the device, it is difficult to distinguish between the processes of charging the photoreceptor, exposure, and visual image by increasing the gap by more than 9 degrees. .

■ On the other hand, in order to optically neutralize the non-image area (parts on both sides or one side of the photoconductor in a direction parallel to the direction of travel of the photoconductor) during magnification, it is necessary to light must be irradiated. That is, light irradiation must be performed before, after, or simultaneously with the projection of the original image onto the photoreceptor.

Therefore, in this embodiment, an optical static eliminator was added to the developer tank for developing the electrostatic latent image on the photoreceptor.

FIG. 1 is a structural diagram related to the copying part of the copying machine of this embodiment, and 1 is a photosensitive drum. Below, each step will be explained in order.

(c) Static elimination process A static elimination light is irradiated onto the photosensitive drum 1 from a static elimination lamp body. This static elimination lamp body is integrally fixed with the tilted developer tank 3 (on the side where the charger 2 is located, that is, the side through which the optical path for exposing the original image passes) of the developer tank (box) 3 that performs the next step of development. Since the developer tank 3 is installed at an accurate position with respect to the photosensitive drum IVC due to the nature of the three-developer copying machine, the developer tank 3 can accurately position the light source for charge removal. The specific structure of the static elimination lamp body is as shown in FIG. Static elimination lamp bodies LI and L2 are set at both ends of the edge adjacent to the drum 1.

Note that this static elimination lamp body LI+L2 is constructed as a separate part from the developer tank 3, and is fixed to the lid 3a of the developer tank 3 with screws (by fixing it in a long length, the static elimination lamps L+ and L2 can be made movable). However, it is also possible to integrally form the lid 3a and the static elimination lamp bodies L+ and L2 with aluminum sash or the like.
