Claims

(1) In a variable magnification electrophotographic copying machine in which a photoconductor uniformly charged by a charging means is selectively exposed to light for a specific copy size as appropriate, the photoconductor is provided at a distance from the photoconductor and a static elimination lamp that selectively irradiates erase light; and a light that is provided between the static elimination lamp and the photoreceptor and has a light-condensing function in which an entrance surface facing the static elimination lamp is larger than an output surface facing the photoreceptor.
