Abstract

PURPOSE:To transmit audible tone information to a subscriber circuit without increasing the processing of a CPU by transferring the audible tone information to the subscriber circuit through a main channel network together with an audible tone. CONSTITUTION:When the audible tone is transmitted to a terminal 104, the CPU101 controls a switch 100 through a bus 112 to connect a sound signal line 110 and a connection signal line 111 between an audible tone generator 102 which generates the necessary audible tone and the subscriber circuit 103. Consequently, the audible tone of the generator 102 is sent to the terminal 104 through the signal line 110 and circuit 103.
