ましい。This inlay-type electrical contact strip material is manufactured by forming a groove 2 in a base material 1 by cutting as shown in Fig. 2, and then fitting a contact material 3 of a size that matches the groove 2 and seam welding. Therefore, the interface 4 at the bottom of the groove 2 between the contact material 3 and the base material 1 (see Figure 1) is well welded, but the interface 5 on both side walls of the groove 2 is not welded at all. Therefore, electrical contacts made from such electrical contact strip materials had the disadvantage that the contact material 3 peeled off during use, and had extremely low reliability as a contact. An object of the present invention is to provide a method for manufacturing an inlay-type electrical contact strip material in which the contact material never peels off from the interface with the base material. Then, first, as shown in FIG.
and the contact material 3, which is harder than the base material 6, are superimposed and pressed together, and then rolled to form the contact material 3' as shown in FIG.
is buried in the base material 6'. Thus, in the manufacturing method of the present invention, since the contact material 3 is made of a harder material than the base material 6, the contact material 3' is rolled into the base material 6.
', which creates a strong bond. The overlapping position of the contact material 3 and the base material 6 during pressure contact is Π■1 or more with the dimensions shown in FIG.
It is preferable that the rolling ratio is less than ■=P.

This has the excellent effect that electrical contact strip material can be easily manufactured.

。Further, the manufacturing method of the present invention does not require grooving of the base material in the conventional method of manufacturing inlay-type electrical contact strips, so it is time-consuming and has excellent workability.
