[After this position, the rotating brush] 1 and the sprayer] 4 are rotated and extended to the orbit A side. Next, move the connecting trolley 2.3.4 at a low speed (for example, 12 m/min)
At the same time, the rotary brush 11 is started to rotate, and from the time when the sprayer 14 comes into contact with the side surface B, the detergent is supplied to the spray pipe] 3, and the brush 11 starts rotating on the side surface B.
Fresh water is supplied to the injection pipe 26 from the time of contact. As a result, detergent is applied to the contacting surface of the side surface B by spraying detergent from the passing sprayer 14, and then the contacting surface is washed with water by the water-containing pressure welding of the rotating brush 1 which passes next. However, in the water washing operation of the lever, effective washing power can be obtained due to the combination of the peeling action of the detergent and the appropriate pressing pressure generated by the driving force of the torque motor 24. Finally, when the rotating brush ] has passed side B, the traveling of the cart and the above-mentioned cleaning operation are stopped. (b) Cleaning of the front surface C (see figure (1))) First, after returning the rotating brush 11 and the sprayer 14 to their original directions and leaving the orbit A, the turntable 40 is rotated to remove the rotating brush 42. The cover 44 is extended to the track A side and turned to the front. Next, the connected trolley 2.3.4 is used regularly (for example, at a speed of 36 m/min)
The carriage is moved backward and stopped when the brush 42 comes into contact with the front surface C. Then, while spraying the detergent from the spray pipe inside the cover 44, the movable movable table 32 is moved at low speed to a height where the brush 42 reaches the upper end of the front surface C, and the detergent is applied to the front surface C during this time. Subsequently, the detergent spraying is stopped, and the rotation of the rotary brush 42 and the spraying of fresh water from the injection pipe 45 are started, and the movable base plate 36 is moved backward by the drive of the torque motor 47, and the brush 42 is pressed against the front surface C. . Then, the movable platform 32 is lowered to its original low position, and the front surface C is washed with water during this time.
In the case shown in the figure in which an inclined surface is formed on the side of the front surface C, an effective cleaning power can be obtained in the same manner as in the previous section. conduct. After cleaning, the rotation of the brush 420 and the spraying of fresh water are stopped, and the rotating brush 42 is returned to its original direction to exit the orbit A. (c) Cleaning the connecting surface (see figure (c)) First, the connecting carts 2, 3.4 are moved backwards and stopped at a position where the rotating brush 52 is near the side of the vehicle connecting part, and then , the rotating brush 52 is laid down on the side of the track A. At this time, if the tip of the brush 52 hits the connecting hood, this can be handled by tilting the brush 52 slightly deeper as shown in the figure. Therefore, the cleaning operation of the connecting surfaces is performed twice on each of the front and rear surfaces.
The cleaning operation is carried out twice, and in each cleaning operation, as in the case of the above-mentioned front C operation, detergent is applied in the pre-ascent process, and water washing is performed in the post-descend process. In addition, when cleaning of one connection surface is completed, the rotating brush 52 is raised once, the cart is moved backward, and the same cleaning operation is repeated, and in each of these series of cleanings,
Effective cleaning power is also obtained. (d) After moving the cleaning connecting trolleys 2, 3.4 on the rear E side once backwards,
The cleaning operation and operation are performed by reversing the method for cleaning the front surface C described above, and the same cleaning power as that of the front surface C can be obtained. In this way, each of the outer surfaces of one side of the vehicle to be cleaned can be machine washed well, so by operating the connected trolleys on both sides at the same time, the vehicle can be cleaned in a short time by two drivers. It is possible to clean the entire surface. As described above, according to the vehicle front and rear surface cleaning device according to the present invention, a movable base plate that is slidable by being driven by a torque motor is provided on the movable platform mounted on the traveling bogie near the track side. The rotary brush, which is held cantilevered by a turntable on the same movable base plate, is configured to extend into the track, so that the front and rear surfaces of the vehicle can be efficiently cleaned with good cleaning power. This has the effect of improving the operability, work efficiency, and safety of the vehicle washer.
