In a livestock transport ship with a multi-layered cage structure consisting of a plurality of main pillars installed at regular intervals in the longitudinal direction on the upper deck and connected by a plurality of longitudinal beams and transverse beams, each transverse beam runs horizontally along the bottom surface of the ship.
