Conventionally, thread is pulled out in parallel sheets from a beam stand with a large number of beams arranged, passed through a guide roller, an immersion roller, and a sizing tank consisting of a squeezing roller for sizing, and then wet-divided. The warp sizing method, in which the material is introduced into a dryer and dried, and then divided and wound up, is well known and has been widely used.

In other words, if the warp threads running in a sheet form are coated with size liquid,
The fuzz on the yarn surface adheres to each other by the size liquid and swells, and this causes the swells of the adjacent warp threads.
This prevents yarn separation, induces yarn breakage, and may generate static electricity in the case of spun yarns containing synthetic fibers. and,
This is especially true in the case of air jet looms, which have continued to develop in recent years, with their special characteristics of high speed and jet air weft insertion, and the special nature of shedding in jacquard looms, which impede the smooth shedding of warp threads. As a result, the weft insertion does not proceed smoothly, resulting in an adverse effect on the quality of the fabric.

In view of the above-mentioned circumstances, the present invention has been arrived at as a result of intensive research in order to eliminate these drawbacks. Immediately after pasting, the present invention has been developed by creating an appropriate film on the surface of the brush bristles with water or an oil dispersion. , when the glued thread runs between the brush bristles,
Even if the thread is rubbed by the brush bristles, the size liquid attached to the thread separates and does not adhere to the brush bristles, and the fuzz of the sized spun yarn adheres to the brush bristles due to the adhesive force of the size liquid and accumulates, preventing yarn breakage. The purpose of this invention is to use the bristles planted on the brush to slide the fluff of the sizing yarn in a way that does not induce such problems, and to improve the separation of the yarn.

That is, the feature of the present invention is that a size liquid is applied to the sheet-like warp yarns pulled out from a large number of beams, the sheet-like warp yarns moistened by the size liquid are dried, and the warp yarns are wound onto the yarn beams of a loom. In the sizing process, the moist sheet-like warp threads immediately after sizing are slid onto the bristles of a rotating brush roll whose bristles surface is appropriately coated with a liquid such as water or an oil dispersion while the roll is rotated. The method is to make the surface of the glued yarn fluffy.

Another feature of the present invention relates to an apparatus for carrying out the above-mentioned method, in which water or an oil dispersion liquid, etc. liquid bath containing and elastic recovery properties. The lower half of the brush bristles are immersed in the liquid in the tank, and the elasticity of the bristles is used to splash off the excess liquid adhering to the surface of the bristles. A rotating brush row for running glued threads with a liquid splash guide that creates a film with moisture! The point is that a fluffing device consisting of a fluffing device is provided.

Here, the most important point in the present invention is that the brush bristles are immersed in a dispersion of water or oil (for example, a surfactant) in a liquid tank while rotating, and that the liquid is attached to the surface of the bristles using a liquid splash guide. Using the elasticity of the brush bristles, the excess liquid is splashed away, forming brush bristles whose surface is appropriately coated with a liquid film, on which the glued sheet-like warp threads slide. There is a thing. Therefore, first of all, it is preferable that the brush bristles planted on the outer periphery of the brush roll be made of synthetic fibers that are strong and have excellent elastic recovery properties, and are also hydrophobic, such as vinyl chloride fibers, polypropylene fibers, etc. etc. are generally preferred.

Moreover, it is important that the brush roll is rotatable as described above, and the brush bristles are preferably implanted in the axial direction on a cylindrical brush body, but the implantation positions are different between adjacent rows of bristles. It is effective in terms of planting design to have the plants offset from each other. If the brush is fixed, as the glued thread slides, the glue will gradually stick to the brush bristles, and this will accumulate and have a negative effect, so it will constantly rotate and It is important to have the opportunity to come into contact with new liquids. This is why the lower half of the brush roll is constantly immersed in the liquid while rotating. In this case, the number of rotations of the brush roll does not need to be too high; too high a rotation speed is undesirable both from the viewpoint of liquid retention and from the sliding surface of the running sheet-like warp threads. A gentle rotation is preferable.

For example, when using a brush roll with a diameter of 14 cm for warp yarns running at approximately 501 n/min, which depends on the running speed of the sizing yarn, approximately 1 m/min per 5 minutes varies depending on the viscosity of the sizing liquid, the type of yarn, etc. A rotation rate of about 100 times is sufficient. It should be noted that the use of brush bristles for the above-mentioned fluffing is extremely effective in removing the sizing liquid that has adhered between the sizing yarns.

In addition, the amount of liquid attached to the surface of the brush bristles that slide the sheet-like warp threads running in parallel is also a condition for enhancing the effect of the present invention, and if it is too large, the size liquid will peel off and the size will not stick. inhibit the effect. However, if it is not added at all, it will have the drawbacks seen in the past. Therefore, the elasticity of the brush bristles is used to splash off excess water, thereby maintaining an appropriate amount of liquid film on the surface of the bristles. In order to do this smoothly, a liquid splash guide is provided.
As the bristles of the brush roll rotate, they are attached to the position where they leave the liquid in the liquid tank. In particular, when installing the fluffing position, it is better for workability to cover it with a cover or the like or to make it removable so that the brush bristles do not get in the way during the preparation process. .

It is preferable that the rotation of the brush roll is linked to the sizing machine via an appropriate speed reduction device and that the speed can be changed. It is also desirable to provide a guide roll or the like to adjust the position where the sizing thread bites into the brush bristles. It's by design. On the other hand, it is also important to consider that the water or oil dispersion in the liquid bath can be circulated during the piping process, and the length, thickness, elastic modulus, etc. of the brush bristles, and the flocking density, The flocked shape and the like are appropriately selected depending on the fineness of the sizing thread, the density of the sizing thread, the material, etc.

FIG. 2 shows an example of the fluffing device 9 or 9'', which is the most important part in the device consisting of the above-mentioned series of steps. A rotating brush roll 21 having brush bristles 23 with excellent properties is used to absorb a liquid 25 such as water or an oil dispersion.
When the brush bristles 23 rotate to the lower half side in the liquid tank 24 containing a Immediately after it is pulled up from the inside and separated from the liquid, the excess liquid adhering to the surface of the brush bristles 23 is splashed off using the permeability of the bristles 23 to form an appropriate liquid film on the brush surface. A liquid splash guide 26, for example a rod, is provided to hold the liquid.

However, as shown in the figure, it is generally considered more preferable to arrange it on the rear side. When the sizing warp yarns W are made to slide through the fluffing device using the apparatus of the present invention installed as described above, the liquid film 27 on the surface of the brush bristles 23 is schematically shown in FIG. forms an interface between the brush bristles 23 and the sizing warp W, and the sizing warp W is rubbed between the bristles as the brush bristles 23 rotate, and the fluff 28 is adhered to the surface of the sizing warp W, and the liquid film 27 As a result, the sizing agent of the sizing liquid of the sized warp yarns W is separated and does not adhere to the brush bristles 23, and therefore the fuzz and fluff of the sized warp yarns adhere to the brush bristles 23, accumulate, and cause yarn breakage. It does not cause any problems or interfere with driving.

Furthermore, the brush bristles 23 themselves have excellent elastic recovery properties, so if excessive resistance is applied to the bristles, the bristles will escape from between the sizing warp threads due to their elasticity, causing thread breakage in this area. Never. This proves that it is also effective for special weft insertion such as air jet looms. Thus, according to the present invention, the problem of fluffing of sized yarns, which has conventionally been a problem during weaving, can be solved, and the disadvantages can be solved and the fluffiness of warp yarns can be achieved, which has significantly contributed to the commercialization of woven fabrics. be effective.
