Abstract

PURPOSE:To suppress the growth and proliferation of molds and bacteria in a corpse, to prevent the contamination of a corpse with micro-organisms, and to preserve a corpse easily without lowering the natural appearance, preventing the degradation, by coating and covering the surface of a corpse with stabilized chlorine dioxide, or injecting stabilized chlorine dioxide into the corpse. CONSTITUTION:A corpse is preserved in a natural state by coating and covering the corpse with stabilized chlorine dioxide or injecting stabilized chlorine dioxide into the corpse. The concentration of stabilized chlorine dioxide depends upon the temperature and humidity, however, it is usually about 35,000-50,000ppm. The amount of stabilized chlorine dioxide injected into the corpse, especially to the easily corruptible abdomen containing stomack and intestines is about 100- 200cc depending upon the size of the corpse. The evaporation of the stabilized chlorine dioxide solution can be suppressed and the effective time can be elongated by adding a drying suppressor such as methylcellulose to the stabilized chlorine dioxide solution. In the case of dissection, the corpse is immersed in the stabilized chlorine dioxide solution having a concentration of 2,500-3,000ppm for 2-4 days before dissection to prevent the odor of chlorine.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION The present invention relates to a method for preserving a corpse, which suppresses decomposition and removes a special odor of death until the corpse is buried or cremated, thereby allowing the corpse to be preserved in its normal state.

Traditionally, dry ice was placed around the corpse as a preservation method to prevent the body from decomposing and to suppress the odor of death until it was buried or cremated. However, even if a highly effective freezing material such as dry ice is used, it will only cool the surface of the corpse, and will not extend to the inside of the body. Therefore, not only does the body decompose and putrefy inside and emit a strange odor, but also the surface of the body turns black due to rapid cooling, which seriously damages the body and causes it to lose its natural appearance. There have been drawbacks such as the lack of storage facilities and supply shortages, which combined with the sudden need to obtain dry ice, making it often inconvenient to obtain it.

The purpose of the present invention is to remove foreign odors and completely preserve the dead body without decomposition until it is buried or cremated.
It also aims to provide a method for preserving a corpse that can maintain the natural color of the surface of the corpse, and the gist of the invention is to apply or cover the surface of the corpse with stabilized chlorine dioxide. It is also a method for preserving a dead body characterized by injecting it into the inside of the dead body.

Hereinafter, an embodiment of the present invention will be described. A stabilized chlorine dioxide solution is applied to the surface of a deceased corpse by an appropriate means, or the inside of a corpse is impregnated with a bedclothes, sheets, pillows, etc. It is injected with a syringe into the abdomen, especially the gastrointestinal region, which is particularly prone to putrefaction.

In this case, the concentration of the stabilized chlorine dioxide solution varies depending on the temperature and humidity (about 35.OOOPFM to 50.0%).
OOOPPM, and the amount injected into the inside of the corpse, especially the abdomen, mainly the gastrointestinal tract, which is prone to decomposition, is about 100 cc to 200 cc depending on the size of the corpse. Furthermore, by mixing a slow-drying agent such as methylcellulose into the stabilized chlorine dioxide solution, the evaporation of the stabilized chlorine dioxide solution can be suppressed and the effective duration of its effect can be extended. It is something.

It has been confirmed that experiments can be carried out completely odor-free by immersing the specimen in a solution with a concentration of PPM to 3000 PPM for 2 to 4 days and then dissecting it. The results of experiments on birds and animals showed that objects soaked for 2 to 4 days did not rot even after being left in the air for about a month or more.

The above-mentioned stabilized chlorine dioxide is coated or covered, and the deterioration of the corpse is prevented by suppressing the growth and propagation of mold and cutaria around and inside the injected corpse, and by deodorizing and sterilizing effects. It prevents and maintains the body's normal state, removes odors, makes it odorless, and maintains the body's natural color.

As is clear from the above description, the present invention involves painting or covering the corpse with stabilized chlorine dioxide, which does not require special storage facilities, or injecting the corpse with stabilized chlorine dioxide. There are supplies like Rye Ice (2) that not only do not cause shortages, but also preserve the bodies without compromising their natural appearance and ensure perfect body management.
